NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION NFL Divisional playoffs discussion

I think Chiefs, Commanders, Rams, and Ravens win this weekend.

I tend to agree, but the weather could make the Ravens

Commanders to beat Lions, brave call.
Weather could benefit the Ravens no one wants to tackle Henry and the cold doesn't help that.

Daniels is better than Goff. Lions peaked last year they will blow it this year that's what they do. Then they will slowly decline back to the bottom.

I've been wrong before and I'm probably wrong again but Bills and Lions losing is historically a decent bet.

I have no real justification for the Rams other than screw Philly. I suppose the Rams winning the SB a few years ago justifies then being a dangerous underdog.

And well KC going to KC.

That's my logic feel free to put in a parlay and thank me later lol.

Daniels in time may be better than Goff but I don't think yet. Lions have had a raft of injuries, but Montgomery should be back and that will make a big difference. I agree with what you said, tackling Henry in really cold conditions....no thanks

Where is the 'ironic' emoji, given his line of work?

I have been to many NFL games over my lifetime, with many fans from opposing teams in attendance.
There is no group of fans - zero, nada, zilch - that compare to fans from the Philadelphia area.
These people are far and away the most miserable people on earth.
They hate everything - themselves, everyone else, and their entire life.

Have heard similar stories from others. It's not just the guys either, the women can be just as bad if not worse.

To me the divisional round is the best.
Although there are fewer games than in wild card weekend, you get all of the best teams (no byes).
Later kickoffs make for a more festive atmosphere.
The following weekend is fine, but it is only two games.

The scheduling worked out great, with the best game last.

KC got very lucky that they didn't get one of the Buffalo/Ravens. Really hope theTexans bring it; the Buffalo/Ravens winner is going be beat up.

Haha
I've been called worse at a preseason Pats Eagles game in Philly back in the day. Brutal place.

For a while the conventional wisdom was that an NFL team cannot win a playoff game with a rookie QB.
That seems to no longer be the case.

2024: Jayden Daniels, Washington
2023: CJ Stroud, Houston
2022: Brock Purdy, 49ers
2020: John Wolford, Rams (replaced by Jared Goff mid-game due to neck injury)
2012: Russell Wilson, Seahawks
2011: TJ Yates, Texans
2009: Mark Sanchez, Jete
2008: Joe Flacco, Ravens
2004: Ben Roethlisberger
2000: Aaron Brooks, Saints
1999: Shaun King, Tampa Bay
1985: Dieter Brock, Rams (35-year old rookie had previously played in the CFL)
1976: Pat Haden, Rams

Is it really going to be -4 for Chief's game?

Henry could be the difference in the Ravens winning this game.

Is it really going to be -4 for Chief's game?
I must have plugged in the wrong date or time on Accuweather, because that site isn't stating any of those numbers now.

25° in the afternoon (feels like 11), 18° in the evening (feels like 5).

But -5 for Buffalo with snow, and Philly 2 degrees with snow.

Yikes!

Hopefully better games, Wildcard Weekend was booty. Chiefs, Ravens, Lions and Rams moving on. Hurts has been underwhelming. Rams will key in on Saquon and ask Jalen to beat them through the air

They need to be checking the ball PSI before, during, and after each quarter in case Kermit lets some air out. I'm sure if someone noticed that the PSI was low, they would say its due to the ideal gas law and say its ok... /****ers

Good luck stopping him. Place will be nuts.
