is BJ to the Raiders - because even IF he has the chops to be a solid HC, the Raiders a) have no QB and b) are the jets of the west, and are going to butt-fumble their way through all that cap money and still be inept

i don't wish BJ any ill will, but at this point i hope he signs with the raiders.......i know tom is there, but he's a minority owner......until the davis family sells, that org is still going to be a mess........so even if BJ is solid as a HC, the damage he can do will be limited

Who wants more talent in the AFC?

I wonder if bj just stays in det again and reassesses next year. Chicago is the only oppening id even consider tbh and im not sure thats a good place to go. Vegas doesn’t have a qb and the khans are lunatics /lawrence is a disappointment.

I actually consider LV as a better opportunity. New GM coming so Ben could have a big say. Plenty of cap space. High draft pick.Tom seems to be out in front putting Mark in the backseat. Aiden O isn't terrible. Bowers is a stud. Jacobi had a solid year. Crosby needs help on D.

it's still the raiders......there's two fanchises i have faith in to perpetually eff it up, and they are one of them

Bowers and crosby are the only major attractions imo and they aren’t picking high enough for a top qb. Division looks brutal too, its quite a hill to climb. If he takes it i like the ambition!

Maybe so but it's a clean slate there.

Agree but isn't going to be easy anywhere. AFC East is owned by BUF. NYJ suck, MIA is competitive, and we, someday are going become a team no one wants to play. CHI has NFC North....nuff said.

Caption this lol

True, most teams looking for a new coach or picking high enough to draft a top prospect are not in a good place. It depends what hes looking for and how picky he thinks he can afford to be. Now that we’re out it might not get better than Chicago in the coming years (depending on how he feels regarding caleb)

If he goes to CHI he needs to fix that oline. It might be worse than ours.....68 sacks. Sheesh

I don't think Brady's influence is to be discounted. If he can build it into a winner, he will. If he finds the league corruption and all the other BS cannot be brought to heel, he will sell his share and sit on some beach. I would 100% expect Johnson to be at the very least strongly considered. If Brady is involved in the interview, then he'll know if the guy is a OC only of if he's a true HC. If he's a true HC, he will be the next Raiders HC.

Gotta hand it to TB12 he is now part owner of a team he already said he didn't like growing up. Dunno if I could do that. Imagine being in charge of the Jete... yikes. Would be tempting to pull a Derek Jeter Marlins CEO type of move if you know what I mean.

Guessing the other one rhymes with Jete?
Darkhorse candidate rhymes with Clowns

Why do I need to care where BJ goes? I'd only care if it's the Jets, but he specifically said "hell no" to the Jets already, so it doesn't really matter. The Raiders, Bears, or Jaguars getting him really doesn't affect the Patriots.

C'mon man...

You need to care for the same reason everyone here loves talking about San Diego's The Chargers Ladd McConkey. Need to be able to point at Johnson when he succeeds and say "see?? They (the krafts) eff'd up yet again!"

I'm with you, BTW. I don't care where he goes.

Yep. On the plus side though if they focus hard on OL then they do have wr talent and what i thought was a pretty good defense ( they may have faltered towards the end though not sure, you don’t lose 10 games or whatever in a row without a bad d)
