I don’t know, but I sure hope so. E-P is a dinasaur. It’s really complicated, and poses serious issues for both the QB and receivers to learn it. Maye is a really football savvy kid, but trying to get the receivers on the same page in that offense is going to be a *****. Even long time veteran receivers were saying “ WTF?” When they came to the Patriots.

The Roeth Squealers ran EP and they didnt't have any Mensa Candidates on that offense.

There are no receivers who sucked here but we're awesome elsewhere.

The issue was Brady being particular with his receivers and crap drafting...not the offense

No, I'd expect them to just hire Vrabel if they want him.

I think Rees is the other rumored candidate for OC if they hire Vrabel.

Why would you give picks away for a guy you can simply hire?

Brady’s issues with receivers was them not being where they were supposed to be. He told Belichick that he could put them out there but he wasn’t going to throw to them if they didn’t know the routes they were supposed to run

He certainly has all the tools, and it looks like he’s got the mental and character side as well. Every young Qb has to get over a bunch of hurdles, but Maye seems like he will be able to handle them. I don’t see him calling time out to have a good cry, which is how Mac handled adversity.
