We have to see how Johnson’s interview went

“The Patriot Way”The Patriot way is winning. You think other winning franchises don't have the same thing and just call it different? Discipline, perseverance, next man up, etc. Wouldn't you take the Chiefs way right now? Talent helps, of course, without which it's the No way.
change is hard but the best thing for this organization is to close the door on the dynasty era and start something new. New coach with new philosophy. New front office strategy. Hell, great time for new uniform combinations. We need to remember the greatest 20 years of dominance, but start something new.As a fan its hard for me not to honor that and give Vrabel the chance to tap into, despite the huge upside BJ may have.
No, its just a fact. We stink. We are often insufferable, impatient, impetuous, spoiled brats, fair-weather, bandwagon, and consistently rank near the top as the worst fans in sports. Our philosophy has been "It is lonely at the top, you loser" but we are no longer at the top and don't know what to do.Speak for yourself.
After favoring Vrabel from the start, I've been having similar thoughts. The skimpy hiring process thus far this year is starting to worry me, given the disastrous result last time they went with the he's-a-fella-we-know-and-like approach. I still feel I'd be happy with either, but I'm getting a little more fond of my reasons for favoring Johnson over my reasons for favoring Vrabel, if that makes sense.I woke up today leaning towards: eff it. Blow it all up. Grab BJ (if he doesn't completely blow the interview). Go big or go home with an offensive coach and Maye. I think it's easier to build a Reid/Mahomes or Payton/Brees combo than it is to find your next Brady/Belichick
Can we still say "Sis"?Rah Rah Sis-Boom-Bah!
Maybe the fact you see only assholes here says more about yourself than it does about about what you see. That is certainly my impression. No, its just a fact. We stink. The 10 worst fan bases in sports: If you're on this list, congratulations, you're the worst.
What's giving me more of a lean to BJ (huehuehue) is the entire front office system/analytics/whatever the heck else we are reportedly missing compared to the Lions organization. I think if we just put Vrabel vs BJ head to head it's probably a wash but taking the entire renovation and modernization this franchise needs into consideration, it may be worth getting the guy who's fresh off a team that represents what we needAfter favoring Vrabel from the start, I've been having similar thoughts. You're literally a hobgoblin and talk like one. It's a you problemI don't care. I just live in reality and don't care about the cupcakes who are offended by my comments. I love my team and my culture. Born in Mass live in NH. We stink as fans. Thats life.
I think the Kraft wanted Vrabel from the red jacket ceremony on. I think he eff'd up with Mayo and saw no way out of the guarantee. I think there was a wink and nod back then. All this other crap is either them fulfilling the Rooney Rule or kicking the tires on Johnson to placate the fan base and maybe see what all the buzz is about. After favoring Vrabel from the start, I've been having similar thoughts. This is what Vrabel just spent an entire season learning about in Cleveland. Cleveland also happens to be one of the heaviest leaning analytics teams in the league. What's giving me more of a lean to BJ (huehuehue) is the entire front office system/analytics/whatever the heck else we are reportedly missing compared to the Lions organization. Is Mayo beige then? This won't make sense to most if you, but I've been thinking if buying a PRS Silver Sky, and I can't decide whether I want a maple or rosewood fretboard. I feel exactly the same thinking about that as I do thinking about Vrabel vs. Johnson. There are just good reasons for both choices. Which is which? Vrabel is rosewood, deeper, more comfortable; Johnson is maple, raw but more sparkle.
I hope they are thinking more responsibly than that (re Johnson that is, I couldn't possibly care less about the d---d Rooney Rule), but I'm certainly not sure that they are. so you may well be right.I think the Kraft wanted Vrabel from the red jacket ceremony on.
