Why would he feel that if that Pats already met the requirements of the Rooney Rule? That makes no sense. The Pat's request isn't related to the rule. More likely, he was not one of the first candidates to be considered or its not a great fit for him so he does not want to waste his time.

If each meeting is 3 hrs, he has 15 hours of zoom meetings over the next couple of days. I would say no also if I didn't think I had a real shot.

Well it depends if Johnson seems more like he will go along with the chain of command and he can develop Maye and has a plan that knocks Wolfs and Krafts socks off.
Or Vrabel goes Vegas then we hire the next man up.

I think this is the biggest reason I lean Vrabel. We don’t need someone to go along with the chain of command, we desperately need someone to be the chain of command. Vrabel has that and I’m not sure that Johnson will develop it as fast as we would need him to.
