Like any hot OC/1st time HC he'll need to prove himself. There is a big unknown here.

The mere fact they are looking outside the organization and open to new ways and philosophies on how to do things speaks volumes.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but there are only 4 head coaching vacancies, right? Pats, Jets, Bears, and Jags. Am I missing anyone? The Giants are keeping Daboll.

That’s also really good news, this is a remarkably low number of job openings, so more chances to get the candidate you want. In the recent past, I believe there have been 6-7 openings annually.
