When's the NYFL going to do something about the schedule? Once again there's a team with a meaningless game at the end (KC at Den this time) and they can determine which other team or team's make it to the playoffs. The NYFL should be trying to avoid that.

The solution is simple. Start and end each season with 4 of the 5 out of conference games for all teams. Then there's no chance that the teams who rest players will control which teams make it from their conference. It would also help avoid playing the more important division games right off the bat when teams may or may not be ready.

And WTF is with playing the same division rival in weeks 16 and 18?

I’d go get Ben Johnson, I love Vrabel but this is todays NFL.
Plus the OC would never leave during Drakes Career
To take another HC job.
If they don’t at least interview him I will be livid.
Today's NFL. So young, imaginative minds, right?

What are your thoughts on Sean Payton as a HC?

I think three minority candidates they need to speak with, Aaron Glenn, Zach Orr, Brian Flores,
Zach Orr is a first year coordinator who struggled badly. Let’s not do the unqualified candidate thing again.

I think the NFL should move to a draft lottery system to keep what happened in so many games on Sunday from happening.

The teams that are locked into a playoff spot are still going to sit as many starters as possible in order to minimize the risk of injury to key players.

Teams on the bottom are still going to want to get a look at rookies at the bottom of their roster.

Even teams that had an opportunity to move up or down one slot in playoff seeding (Rams, Packers, Washington, Steelers) were more interested in protecting their players than winning.

I don't see how moving to a draft lottery would change that.

In years where generational talent is available it's even more critical to have a lottery. Maybe only the 5 teams with lowest winning percentage and worst strength of schedule?

Interesting idea, that may work.

Of course there still may be some tank-incentive to move from #6 or #7 to #5.

Then if we finished last, we would be whining because we should get the pick.

A year after firing Vrabel the titans decide to dump their new GM Carthon.
