Covington and AVP

The article refers to Trollin Volin.
Yes, I know. However 98.5 and even Browns media has it reported as well on his firing. Initially it was reported on the post game show last night with Bedard on 98.5

And the development of Milton.

If Milton keeps on that trajectory that is huge.

Milton has the physical talent of the #1 overall pick, if slightly old.
He has the physical tools, sure. Can he read defenses, change calls at the line and do the other things a QB has to do?

Siting Volin. He's still the only source on the "report".

Absolutely agree. Milton was accurate and showed great pocket awareness. He has definitely been refined the season definitely helped him. AVP is collateral damage from Mayo being fired.

Ben Volin piggybacked off of the Mayo news on Twitter. He's the only one to "report" AVP has been fired. I suspect he'll be let go but, who knows at this point?

But yeah, there's not report other than Volin tryin to make a name for himself.
I thought he had made a name for himself, i think its ''Trolling Volin'' but im not sure

This dude been mia for weeks and now he's all up in the threads leaving negative feedback and bantering with everyone.

I'm sorry. If you wasnt here during the struggle you don't get to be that guy.
I can do whatever the **** I want. If I want to take a break from the sewer pipe of crazy that is PatsFans, I can and will.

And he plays the same style as Maye.

Milton is what Parcells used to refer to as a planet person.

There are very few people on the planet who can do what he does physically.

He seems to have a great attitude. I liked his comment about never wanting to be the smartest person in the room, and to keep learning.

The Pats should keep him as long as they can. He provides a lot of value to the team and there are teams out there now who might want to let him compete for the starting job.

He did what I feared he could do yesterday. He has the physical talent to upset the Bills. Certainly Mike White wasn’t a threat once he came in.

Short of a pick in the first couple of rounds there is no reason to move him.

If AVP is gone, there has to be a QB coach who would love to work with the Pats QB room.

That's right and what do you do McAdoo. He's been MIA too. Likely the staff is gone too. I'm patiently waiting for news on the rest of the staff.

Yes he does. They both are athletic, have great pocket presence and can definitely sling the ball down field. The guy you speak off is none other than Josh McDaniels. Imagine what McDaniels could do for Drake and Milton for thier careers. I'll say this.. Drake has had 2 concussion.. say he has to miss any amount of time having Milton as backup would keep the offense rolling.

Also, I love the idea of an imaginative OC having designed plays with both of them on the field at the same time.

again, all based on ben volin

no confirmation from within the org, who, in fact, released a statement that only mayo has been let go

covington & AVP will not be back, at least not as coordinators, but mayo is the only one removed from the pats website New England Patriots Coaching Staff

i expect some assistants to be retained.......i expect AVP might be offered a demotion, but he might not....volin may end up being "right" in that AVP IS let go, but he has not been fired, not yet

Ok who here sent Trollin the text message saying AVP is fired?
