2024 / 2025 College Watch Thread

The Texas game was fun. Scattebo did everything he could to win that game. Threw for one, rushed for two, 150 yards rushing and a 100 receiving. Thought that non targeting call at the end of regulation easily could gave Arizona the easy fg try to win it before it went to ot.

That headshot was a penalty and Arizona fans have every right to be pretty pissed off about the way it went.

How is this not called on a clearly defenseless receiver?

Especially when they called a targeting call earlier in the game where it wasn't obvious that there was helmet to helmet contact.

Two things at play: The refs didn't want to decide the game, or the money and the eyeballs for Texas v Ohio state is more substantial and the NCAA said no targeting.

Pretty much this. Happens all the time.

Feel like I now know everything about every ND player’s entire family and highschool best friend after watching this ESPN coverage.

Skattebo is my binky. Not impressed with Kelvin Banks movement in this game. Love Golden so much.
Skattebo is awesome to watch but I imagine he's got a short shelf life with the beating he's delivered. That said I'd take him early on day 3.

I like the WR from Texas Golden. Also the center Majors is worth a look at in the late rounds.

Tonight the guy I'm impressed by isn't wearing a jersey. It's the defensive coordinator for Notre Dame. Al Golden is putting on a show against the Bulldogs.

Love it Georgia going down
Good to see ND in the Limelight again

I'll admit I took joy in watching them lose to Northern Illinois but they've come a long way since.

Georgia got beat in every way you can get beat in football. ND really just had a sound approach to that game and played a great 4th qrtr to chew time.

How does ND fair if their run game gets slowed down? They were held to below their avg ypc and still managed a good win. Georgia had more yards overall, passing, and yards per play. Just couldn't find a way into the EZ.

Well , I got another pick wrong...well done to Notre Dame. I recorded the game so I have plenty to catch up on.

I did not realise that Georgia had lost their starting QB for this game....duh.

Another great defensive gameplan by Al Golden last night. Can we interview him for the DC position here please?

I'm glad ND won because that pass interference call midway through the 4th was BS. The stud TE was triple covered and the defender made no contact. That was a bail out call which led to a TD.

And how bout that Greathouse kid for the Irish? Gives me Puka Nakua vibes!

Probably not this year. However every game I watch Warren impresses me more and more.

OSU are going to be difficult for ND to handle ??

Just saw the highlights of the ND v Penn State game , looked pretty exciting towards the end.

I’d be ok with the Pats giving Marcus Freeman an interview

As an ND guy, I almost can’t believe the showing there putting on, so used to being embarrassed on the national stage. They could definitely get blown out by Ohio State but this has been fun

It was such a bad call. And I’m so tired of announcers saying “absolutely the right call there“ in those situations, like who’s paying you dude

There was another bad PI last night too. But Ohio State deserved to win. Texas D has some individual great players Mukuba and Simmons but as a whole they are suseptible to big runs. I bet Jeanty would've loved to face them.
