If Moses retires, these may be one-year options.

Week 18 pregame thread:

Things are looking up; only one game left to endure

Thankfully the endless season of misery and suffering has mercifully neared the end.

Prior to Sunday's game, the Patriots are only 3½ point underdogs to Buffalo, reflecting the assumption the Bills will rest as many key players as possible.

The final game of a season involving a team locked into a playoff spot (or a team eliminated) are the toughest to predict, more difficult than even a preseason game. And just like a preseason game - which used to more accurately be called an "exhibition" games - it is a meaningless affair where one or both sides are not truly attempting to win.

If you can count on the Patriots to do anything it's going to be that they win a useless game at the end of the season and tank their 4 months journey toward the number 2 pick.

And then Mayo will brag about it post game about how the team never quit and it's a building block.

Also the media will eat it up and not hold Mayo accountable for how horrendous this season has been.

We will be right back here next year doing it all again. Some of us will have I told you so bragging rights.

I hate to be so bleak but this is correct...

The players will win one for Mayo. Or they'll be thinking about Turks & Caicos and Cancun.

The Bills who don't care vs the Pats who want to lose. Sadly the Pats have failed to execute all year long, so they may fail at failing. Sadly Mayo may want to beat the Bills back ups so he can potentially say 'YEAH! We beat the eventual Super Bowl Champs in week 18! Let me keep my job!' To me this has to be a situation were Kraft steps in. If he has to fire Mayo and the rest of the coaches mid game and then force his 3rd string out there, he needs to do it.

Let's take a page out of the Bill's fans playbook and donate money to Tyrod Taylor's charity if they beat the Pats. (Context they did this for Andy Dalton when a win by the Bengals put the Bills in the playoffs. Tyler Boyd who made the game winning catch was treated the same.)

Play the Bills shout song when they score lol

Fans should intentionally make noise when the Patriots are on offense. As part of your STH package, you get 25% off tickets next year for wearing Bills stuff at the game. Lastly, Kraft can offer a lifetime supply of Orchids of Asia gift cards to Pegula in exchange for the Bills playing starters for 2.5 quarters.

Anyone who is rooting for a win is crazy and incapable of seeing the big picture. This game is the difference between drafting a superstar and bundle of great draft assets and getting one guy, at #4 or trading down from a significantly less valuable pick.

I think they start Maye but they’ll go very vanilla on offense to protect him. Runs and lots of short passes to wind down the clock and get it over with.

Keep the greyhound busses warmed up for some guys who won't be back.. the team equipment manager should have the tickets In their lockers post game.
