Issue is everyone knows we aren't picking a QB. The way to do it is to see if there's a bidding war for someone. But if Sanders is basically pulling a "he'll play at the Raiders or nobody else" it takes leverage away from us.

Then you try to get the Browns, Saints, Seahawks or other teams into the bidding

5 teams picking behind the Patriots need a QB, although one of them will likely pick up Sam Darnold in free agency, most likely the Saints. And the bidding stats with the swap of picks, a 25’ 2nd round pick, and a 26’ 1st round.

If a team won’t give it then just make the pick. Don’t take a ****ty deal.


Raiders-If the Giants take Cam Ward the Raiders are going to want to move up for Sanders. And they will get really desperate for him if daddy becomes the coach. Which would be a terrible move, but it’s the Raiders, anything is possible.

Titans-Levis played better at the end of the season, but he’s not the answer for them. They could try for Wilson or Fields, but they are still in the mix for now. Darnold is also an option.

Browns-The Browns should simply do what Denver did, bite the bullet and get rid of Deshaun Watson, no matter the price. If they do then they need a rookie deal for the incoming QB to make it work.

Jets-The Jets never fail to make the most desperate move available. Rodgers is toast, Woody needs a QB. Make them throw in an extra first in 27’. That would be delicious.

Saints-Still in need of a QB, as neither Carr or Rattler are the answer there, but my guess is that they will go after Darnold.


I won’t bother going much deeper than this, because I don’t believe the top 2 QB’s are worth the price it would cost for that big a jump up to 2.

I think the Patriots should just tell the league they are busy with holiday parties the next couple of weeks, and won’t be able to make it to the next couple of games. I’m sure they will understand.

Slippery Slope! I want the #2 pick BADLY, but I can't see the Franchise basically admit to "tanking". Wouldn't look good for the franchise or to Drake Maye in his development. I think we just need to continue to lose naturally, as we have been. Hopefully it works out.
