DRAFT 2025 Patriots Draft Prospects

Here's another guy Ricky White 6-1 190 UNLV. Level of competition might be a concern but he's a baller. Green Bay's Romeo Doubs played at Nevada we scouted him. Ricky White reminds me of former Atlanta's WR Roddy White also same initials "RW".

What kind of speed are we talking here? When he runs a 4.53 people are going to have Harry flash backs. Seems to have good game speed and is creative at getting separation. Are we willing to do this experiment again? Not saying he’s
gonna be great, average or terrible, but there will be questions and comparisons that will come up with the prospect.

Lazar says Tet would be the 5 or 6 WR drafted last year....end of the 1st pick at best. He just looks good in a bad class.

Isn't Trey Smith a Guard??
Correct, it would allow Owenu to go back to RT or allow Robinson to be a reserve G. Stalie at LT, Strange/Robinson/Smith at LG/RG with Owenu/Wallace at RT.

Shores up the oline, especially if Andrew's can come back at C.

Owenu is a passible RT, and very good RG....we need a RT so Owenu can stay inside.....paying big money to another RG isn't smart

Michael Onwenu is an ok RT: we need more than ok there. I think we are set at Guard we have Tackle problems.

What surprised me from last year is how Siddy Sow have regressed. We have a lot of Guard/Center types ie... Benny Brown - Layden Robinson and Cole Strange and Jake Andrews. I would like to see if the latter Andrews show something next TC. Also hoping Siddy Sow gets' out of his funk.

Hoping a player gets out of a funk vs having a talented player is 2 different things.

If we go into training camp next year on the hope that certain players turn it around, it will be a very disappointing offseason.

Wish list.. lose out and raiders, giants and jags to win 1 or more games.

We get draft pick 1 with raiders and giants as 2,3 and jags as 4th.

There is a bidding war for pick 1 and we drop to 2 or 3 and get a extra 2nd round pick and one veteran player on defense.

And we draft Travis Hunter with our first round pick.

And with 2 second rounders and 2 3rd rounders draft the core for 2025 and bring the team to a 8-9 win team win 2025.

The Bears was dead set on Caleb Williams - The Redskins locked onto J Daniels - which leaves Drake Maye or Harrison Jr @3 or 4. How the 2024 unfolded wasn't Rocket science.
correct. Bears made Williams the starter on draft night hw never had to earn the job in camp like Drake did. That's another reason why Williams has had struggles. I believe Drake basically winning the job in camp and not being named starter fueled him.

I am super high on Mason Taylor. He has pretty good hands and is not a good blocker but has shown a willingness to block. I look at it if a player is willing then he can be taught technique to improve. My most recent Mock offseason he was my 4th round pick.
Gronk ran a slower 40 Time (granted he was 10 lbs heavier), but if Taylor does run that fast (or within that range), and if he can or is coached on how to properly block, he could prove to be one of those 3rd Round or lower round Steals (as he is already a decent receiver).

I'm not sure, I think you pick one and let him play the other in a limited role. Although I'm extremely curious what he'd be like as a full-time wide receiver and with Gonzalez that could be a better fit but he's currently a better CB and paring him with Gonzalez is enticing.
I think it comes down to roster build but early on he plays both in some capacity.

He's unique and you need to think a bit differently on how you use him.

Trying to not get my hopes up, the idea of getting Hunter is exciting, hope it works out and they are in position to get him and then don't screw it up.
If we're going CB with a high pick, Will Johnson out of Michigan could be a stud from Day 1 alongside Gonzo.

Agreed. Onwenu needs to stay at RG.

RB look really good in 2025 we could get: a decent Guy on Day 3. Rham is not a RB you build a Team around.

What’s your plan to further Maye’s development if we draft defense and leave him with a bunch of retreads?

I didn't say to draft defense. It was a response to someone else who suggested drafting Hunter as a CB when I stated that if that were the case, I'd rather have Will Johnson. Did you not read the original post I was responding to? Because it seems as if you clearly didn't.

I must have missed it. I stand corrected.

Am I the only one who likes RB Cam Skattebo 5'10 215?? Kid looks like a player dual threat and all. I'm a little meh on Rham

TE is sneaky deep this year. Oregon TE Terrance Ferguson is highly slept on. Besides Warren, Fannin Jr & Loveland, he’s the next best imho.

Tory Horton had season ending knee surgery early in the season intriguing player. He should be ready to go by Training camp.

Was hoping he would of come out last year. Seems to fit that 4th round sleeper playmaker mold.
