DRAFT 2025 Patriots Draft Prospects

The money to Higgins doesn't matter, it can be structured as a 3-4 year deal, which coincides with most of Maye's rookie deal. If you used 30 million in cap space you'd still have the 4th most cap space but would have 44 players signed while the 3 others would be 36,35 and 30 so you can get Higgins and still basically have the most cap space in the NFL. Of course, it would not be 30 million in cap space for 2025, Aiyuk was 26.8 million per year and cap space is only 11 million in 2025.

Higgins is very good receiver, he'd be the best receiver on the team, and you give up nothing but cap space. He's also THE BEST option to add to the wr's in free agency.

In that contract time frame they have to sign Gonzalez and then at the end of that time Maye.
Nobody else on the roster is getting that and its rare a free agent comes out the can get that type of money. If not Higgins, then who? Just save the cap money for nothing?

He's not Chase or Jefferson but they don't come available very often and if you somehow draft one then Higgins contract will be up when you have to sign that person.
He'd pare great with Travis Hunter who could play some #2 CB and #2 receiver as he develops into a #1 in whichever position he thrives in most.

I also doubt Higgins gets 30 million.
Agreed. But those WR salaries are going up like QB salaries I think Higgins gets 30 million or close to it. I'd say at least 27 million?

I hope after the Pats work out WR Tetairo McMillan they fall in love with him. I'm kinda mixed with two way player Travis Hunter.
Correction: I'm not so mixed about Travis Hunter anymore he's the Real Deal and should go Number one. The Raiders - Giants and Titans are not going to take him...the Jags should win some more games.

I cannot see a way the Bolles wouldn't want to sign and retire in Denver.
On one hand, the Broncos should probably save some money to spend elsewhere. They’ve already got a $18M per year RG, $17.5M RT, and $13M LG, all backloaded so the remaining cap hits are a higher average than that.

On the other hand, Sean Payton signs everybody he wants until his cap guy tells him that there aren’t any contracts to restructure anymore, so a blank check scenario isn’t that unlikely.

Not one person in this forum wanted Cooper DeJean with their second pick, it was OL or WR, and both had been cleaned out of the top prospects in the first round.
Go back and look. I repeatedly argued for BPA and mentioned Cooper DeJean multiple times.

One player that seems to be slipping through the cracks is Mason Taylor. Kiper has him as a 3rd round pick, but most have him rated much lower. He’s Jason Taylor’s son and plays tight end for LSU.

He’s 6’5” 255. I’ve read that he lacks speed, but I’ve read that he runs about a 4.65 40. I’ve also read that he lacks functional strength, but that may be due to age. He won’t turn 21 until May. I’ve seen pictures where he looks soft as a freshman, I’ve also seen more recent pictures where he looks ripped.

I learned about him when reading about Jayden Daniels last year. Daniels is playing great this year, but he didn’t seem to use the middle of the field while at LSU and wasn’t looking for Taylor. I’m not sure about LSU’s offense this season, but he does have 546 yards on 55 catches.

He might be an interesting 3rd round pick.

Former great players son...sign me up.

There need to put an emphasis on Speed for our Offense in 2025. We are a very slow Team: we need some guys who can take it to the house on one play or get chunk plays.

The Athletic is out with a new mock draft with Pats taking Will Campbell at 4 after Jags take Hunter and Giants and Raiders take QB's.

Most interesting thing is some scouts saying no QB is worth a 1st round pick, I agree with this FWIW

Also, the consensus is Hunter is the only player that would go top 10 in 2024 draft, after that teams that have a guy at #2, another team might have them at 15. I somewhat agree though personally I'd take Campbell, T-Mac and Jeanty over Penix, Odunze and Latham. I'd also have taken Bowers over all them though.

Come on Mac Jones, win us a game and Pats, lose out, Hunter or BUST!

I think 27 million is accurate, just tops Aiyuk's #.
Of course, you just don't know how many teams are in the mix.

You said Maye looks like a Generational Talent... Tarvis Hunter is obvious Hmmmm.

He's worth it.

True. But we are in an advantage becuase we have so much cap space. So if I'm wolf I'm having Drake in on the calls with higgins to lure him here.

IF Will Campbell can Start from Day 1 I'm not against the pick.

Campbell - Robinson - Strange - Onwenu - ???? That should be a Good OL even with a ****ty RT.

Imagine Drake Maye behind a OL that gives him time??

Drake needs to be on the call with Campbell, bolles agent along with wolf.

QBs are getting paid in the 45 to 50 mil range, so no not QB range at all.
