BUT what does it matter when your defensive coaching is abysmal?

Two weeks in a row, players are totally out of position.

This timing offense is not that hard to disrupt. Try to bat the ball down, get proper depth, bump those WRs.

But we have people totally out of position.

This is coaching. Lack of ability to diagnose how to contain the opposition.

So why does getting better players even matter?

Exactly. Getting better players is like putting a bandaid on a sucking chest wound.

Kraft, and many on here, wanted the antithesis of BB. That’s what we’ve got.

But then again, I'm not surprised at all that this is how the D plays, because that is how Mayo played when he was a player. I always thought Mayo was one of the most overrated players that I've ever seen.
