NoIs anyone surprised by the rookie coaching/GM gaffes anymore?
Lord save us. Instead Jonathan will hire Bain & Company to get a bunch of MBAs to consult on a five year plan and the resulting imperative to cut costs and reduce spending especially on player salaries will be treated as gospel and the word of God.This team is going to sit in idle with a stud QB for the foreseeable future until Jonathan talks his dad into reconsidering if god actually spoke to him on the mountain.
What ever went down with Shawn Jefferson? Weren't the Pats supposed to interview him? He's with the JETE now.Tyler Hughes is our WR coach.
Next season with Higgins, draft pick, Polk, Baker, pop if the offense still isn't unlocked then I can see maybe a change perhaps.
His resume is wild.Tyler Hughes is our WR coach.
The Breakfast Club, Weird Science, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, and Uncle Buck. His resume is wild.
The year was wasted in the offseason when Wolf knew he was taking a QB at #3 and didn’t make OLine his main focus. That's my concern.
Waste a year when Maye is in his rookie contract to realize the obvious.
Even if this group works out, it's probably worse. They are not elite coaches/game planners by any standard.
I don't want to be Buffalo with a top 3 QB, and an average coach.
That seems aspirational. To say the least. That's my concern.

Highly agree. The whole premise of this season was getting the QB and development of Drake. They have Done that. Now as I've said.. next season is the real barometer.. I fully expect the team to add playmakers on noth sides of the ball. If the coaching is still and issue then I think change will be made. That's my concern.

There were plenty of better options for WR coach.. maybe covington should be coaching the WRs he's a former WR..What ever went down with Shawn Jefferson? Weren't the Pats supposed to interview him? He's with the JETE now.
LOl. Almost. The Breakfast Club, Weird Science, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, and Uncle Buck.
So "talented" that Thornton is only on a team's practice squad and Wilson is now on his third team in 4 years being waived for poor performance by his previous 2 teams. Is anyone surprised by the rookie coaching/GM gaffes anymore?
They don’t know which way the wind is blowing, it took them 3 weeks to figure out how not to let the clock run out before halftime with all their timeouts and two minutes on the clock, they’re cutting talented young players like Thornton and Marco Wilson instead of developing and improving them.
Wouldn't you think Covington the former college WR be the WR'S coach not the DC..LOl. Almost.

That would be a step in the right direction compared to where we were last year under the old regime. We’re destined for mediocrity in the immediate future.
I think the DL played well with him there under BB. Not everyone is a round peg in round hole. If you can teach, you can teach something new if you like it or at least try. Doesn't mean you're made for Coordinator though.Wouldn't you think Covington the former college WR be the WR'S coach not the DC..
You really do hate that old regimeThat would be a step in the right direction compared to where we were last year under the old regime.
Well to be fair it's shouldn't be that hard to improve in the years ahead from 4-13 and a dumpster fire of a roster that was left by the old regime...You really do hate that old regime
Desmond Howard was not a good receiverMarcus is electric with the ball in his hands. He would be fantastic with a full time role on offense.

Why the feck do we keep seeing Javon Baker returning kicks? That should be Marcus Jones' job.Desmond Howard was not a good receiver
