Since the conclusion of last season, New England Patriots linebacker has been spending a lot of time in New Hampshire.

For most this offseason, Winovich could be seen raving about the state over his social media and exploring all of its attractions.

Winovich’s love for the New Hampshire apparently began in January when he referred to Portsmouth as “the coolest city in the world” and went as far as renting a place in the city a short time later.

Well, with the new NFL season right around the corner and workouts set to begin at Gillette Stadium soon, Winovich had to say goodbye to his new favorite state this week and travel back down interstate 95.

Taking to his Instagram, Winovich professed his love and gratitude for New Hampshire one final time in a funny video.

“I surfed in your ocean, hiked your trails, petted your goats and snowy owls… New Hampshire I learned a ton of lessons on love, strength, and generosity. It captured my heart and strengthened my soul. This place is SPECIAL. The people, the energy, the nature! I could not be more appreciative of everything this state has provided for me and I promise to give my all come this fall for you”, Winovich wrote in the post.

Last season, Winovich played in all 16 games for the Patriots and started nine of them.

In 2020, Winovich logged 48 total tackles, 5.5 sacks and recorded his first career interception in week 13 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
