In year where they could choose 3 Patriots 4 with Kraft they'll probably choose Hines Ward and James Harrison instead. The Hall likes Steelers and hates Patriots.

Was just thinking of that as I posted it. Maybe these guys should all sign one day contracts with the Steelers and retire with them that will help lol

If Eli gets in it has to be for his 2 Super Bowl wins. I'm sure it won't be for his .500 career regular season record and 84 rating.

If that happens then I don't see why Edelman and his postseasons shouldn't be rewarded with a gold jacket.

That's an easy answer: the only one who hates Patriots greats more than you is the HoF lol. I think both Willie and Jules belong for the post season numbers.

Eli Manning is the luckiest QB in NFL history. How the hell does he make it out of the gauntlet in 2007 of Dallas when they got their asses kick twice that season, at GB against and then against the undefeated Pats?

Then luck strikes again beating a 15-1 Packers team and then a 49ers team that beat him up so badly I'm surprised he didn't leave on a stretcher. Then hangs around again against the Pats.

It was all because of that damn DL.

1) Edelman didn't play in NY. NYC bias.
2) His name isn't Manning.

Actually Steve Spagnuolo, maybe he's isn't great head coach but as a DC, you have to respect him.

Tell them to stop hating hater.
I call the HoF out as haters all the time not quite as much as I call you out but they don't post as often. But also let's be honest when the HoF inducts BB you'll be saying Brady deserves to be his bust.

Spagnolo was there for first run, but not the second. He’s done a great job in KC.

Perry Fewell was the DC in 2011.

I'm thinking Eli, Vinatieri, Gates are shoo-ins and the other HOFers will be one of the receivers, either Reggie Wayne or Steve Smith (sorry Hines Ward), one of the linemen and a defensive player, hopefully Rodney.

We actually didn't fare as poorly against Fewell, it's just we had a terrible defense that year that let the Giants hold the ball for 40 minutes. Brady and the offense weren't lighting it up, but they were better than their final points. The below average scoring output was due to fewer possessions rather than being dominated.

Gave up 132 yards rushing with a few chunk runs to the 32nd ranked rushing offense in the league.

The NY defense started clicking later in the season and then they got a huge boost in moral when they nearly beat the Patriots at the end of the regularly season. They just got hot at the right time and they were surging up while we were sort of coasting along throughout the playoffs.

2011 was a little different. Eli was playing out of his mind and the Patriots secondary was a huge weakness.
We beat one winning team in the regular season (Steelers) and one winning team in the playoffs (Ravens).

And needed some luck to do that with Cundiff shanking an easy FG. Gronk being 50% if even that - didn’t help our chances.

With a healthy Gronk they win the game. ****ing Bernard Pollard got him. I also think Brady was injured in the 3rd quarter, might of made a difference on the throw to Welker.
