So glad I didn't choose going to a Ruins game as my birthday present. Laurie sucked again, as did the has-been Defenceman recalled from Providence. Offense was once again and unsurprisingly offensive.

I'd start Korpisalo until he lays an egg the size of the one Swayman laid in Dallas.

Not only is Swayman Not The Guy, especially at his new salary, but statistically he’s one of the very Worst goalies in the league now. He’s become complacent since he Got Paid; and he also knows that the team in front of him absolutely ****ing Sucks, so he figures Why should I put in the extra effort?

At least the Bruins dug themselves out of last place up to 4th in the division after keeping the spot warm for Montreal.

63 games left to get better everywhere. When the Bs face a team that's likely a post season contender the result is typically a LOSS. Crushed by the Hurricanes and Dallas.

Hell, I'm not sure I can even adequately flesh out the question beyond "How can almost everyone suck at the same time?"

Goal differential really stands out.....-21....currently tied for 2nd worst in NHL
Goals/game..........31st in NHL
Goals against/game.....28th

No question. The penalties. Sloppy play. Lack of focus and energy. That's coaching and a lack of leadership.

I said it 2-1/2 years ago, and now I gotta say it again:

They fired the Wrong guy.

If they don't turn this around no question Sweeney is (and maybe Cam) next. His FA signings have not panned out. The system is dearth of young talent. Aside from 2019 they've haven't gotten past the 2nd round in 9 years.
