I can see the vision. Let's keep Progressing. Maye and the O-line are serviceable. Big cut down on dumb penalties. I love the Hooper/Henry combo alot. Big play guys who give other teams match up issues. Use the more. Pop and Boutte and playing well and not dropping the ball. Rhamondre is creating yards. We gonna be ok. I really want them to score 3 touchdowns, win loose or draw. Lots of first downs is priority 1!
I keep hearing about the "Vaunted Rams defensive front".. they are average. Drake and his abilities breakdown down any defense. Teams can't just sit back like Brissett is still playing at QB. Drake poses such a match up problem for DCs it's so good to have a QB that offers that again. Drake makes others better, he makes plays when they aren't there. Yes the TEs have really blossomed this season and I think we need to go with more TE sets. Hooper is a guy we need to try to keep around for next season.

Yes, totally agree. Van Pelt is opening up the playbook. Keep going! Added bonus, Drake can run fast!!

Yes!! The key is getting better by the end of the season.. for them to even be consi a team in the hunt is simply remarkable

This is absolutely a winnable game. But it depends on if we get the team from last week or the one against the Titans.
Agreed Stafford is a statue.. if we dial up pressure we can rattle him. I say double Nucua and lock up cupp with gonzo.

So long Tyquan. Another pick that looked great on paper...why is it so difficult.

I remember Gurgregian did a story on this some years back during the winning era. How complex and difficult it was for rookies to learn the offense. I think yeah that has something to do with it.. but how are basically 31 other organizations able to draft and develop WRs but we can't. Branch, givens, eldeman, Mitchell, pop Douglas,Myers are the only WRs during that era that worked out. That's sad.

I'm excited about the game today. Can see us scoring some points and it being a nice tough battle. An amazing contrast already from the early games that we just pure awful.
I hear ya.. I'm optimistic.. I just want to see them stack wins and continue to grow Drake. Not to long ago we loss 6 straight games. If we can somehow go on a run to finish the season it would be immense for the organization heading into FA.

Everyone is optimistic based on last week's win. We will see this week if the Pats are getting better, or simply played a really bad team last week. Going on a run? Let's win a game against a good team first. The Rams are 4 - 5 like the Bears, so this week is a good comparison.

Going on a run meaning win more than 1 game it's what I'm saying.. the whole objective is to be a better team at the end of the season than you were in September. Like I said I optimistic however if the Rams come in here play bully ball and Marcus Jones is getting mossed then that optimism will quickly fade.

There was nothing difficult about Not drafting BoneyT. Nothing.
What's puzzling is teams have everything available to them when drafting guys these days.. scouting departments go back to HS on these guys. I will continue to say this.. when an organization has stability at the most important position in football for so long it's easy for a GM to shrug his shoulders on drafting bust after bust.

Drafting well is crucial, and there is no question NE’s has had some issues in that dept in recent years. It’s put the franchise in a tough spot and it’ll take a few good years to get back on track.

That said, posters here have no idea how to draft. If they did, instead of crying on the www, they’d be employed by an NFL franchise. Lots & lots of dismissing how difficult it is to choose the right player and the variables are so pronounced that many ‘sure things’ have fizzled. The internet has made many people believe crazy things. One of them is that regular folks could run an NFL franchise.
