I know it's silly, but Barmore coming back healthy could be just the thing this team needs to push them into being an over .500 team. The DL has been a weakness but has been improving, and getting an elite DT like Barmore plugged back in would be huge. That puts more pressure on the other offense which lets the DBs make more plays, and takes some of the pressure off the LBs. They're adding Ngakoue may also.

If you simultaneously get some steady offensive improvement, through Maye improving his game, AVP seemingly just getting a little better at his job weekly, and the young WRs slowly improving, that can cumulatively create a team that goes 4-2 in the next 6 games. Let's say they beat the Rams, Colts, Cardinals and Chargers, and lose to the Dolphins and Bills. That puts them at 7-9 going into the final week possibly facing a "win and you're in" game for the 7th seed depending on how things shake out, against the Bills in Foxboro, who could very well be resting starters.
You make great points Ross I'll say that. They have been improving the last few weeks I'm certain areas. Having Barmore back as you said is huge for the defense especially stopping the run and rushing the passer. If anything it makes all these games the rest of the way Interesting. If they can somehow go on a run and even sniff a playoff berth like in 2022 when they played the bills tough that last game it would be huge for the organization going forward. Once Drake gets some guys on the outside watch out NFL!

Barmore expected to practice today, wow thats great! Guessing that means miami at the latest

Great news! But, I don't think they can rush him back. That's how guys get injured.
He's been out of football action for over 10 months. It may take 2-3 weeks for him to be ready - or at least effective.
But it depends on how intense his recent workouts have been. I'd love to see him asap obviously.

What's really interesting is if Barmore comes back, and Dugger, and even Strange - for the December push.
Is it possible for us to be finally clicking when we face the final 4 game gauntlet?

Yeah I don’t want to rush it either but typically when someone starts practicing they are questionable/out the first game and good to go the following week. Would be great to have him and dugger for miami, it sounds like dugger may play this week if he practiced yesterday. Strange would help alot if he can return to form. Nothing amazing but a real upgrade from Jordan

Glad its not just me.

Clearly, the MAOI accounts for the sub-parallax SMDH, operationalizing ABCD, because E might just FG, quantified by the interpenduncular fossa's capacity to film flap the DOVA, DAVO, and OVAD.

Yeah, that's prolly it.

The improvement from the first four game to the last four games should be considerable.

We should be a "competitive" team for the last four games, presuming that the OL is healthy. Barmore and Strange are major additions.

Pats defense should be able to slow them down as their attack isn't dynamic. Nucua is a possession WR who isn't going to take the top off and Cupp is a shell of himself.

Tyquan Thornton strange status why not just release the bum?? I would take a player on our Taxi squad over him...what a useless player. I think I would take Harry over him right now he's that bad.

It is a slap to the face of the other 52 members of the active roster that BoneyT is still wasting valuable oxygen by being among them.

The Pats went from the # 1 draft slot to # 6 by beating the Bears.
Great. Let's hope the Pats move to #9 or #10 this week. I'd like nothing more than to see the Pats squash the Rams hopes again.

Think we can all agree watching Brissett play and maye play is HUGE differences. I give Brissett credit for taking care of the ball, and taking the hits.. but he offered no threat to defenses.
If the Pats win a few more games and come even a little close to the playoffs then the Brissett decision will be a sore spot for some here.

Agreed there. Drake has gotten invaluable experience by playing. Rookies learn by playing and making mistakes as well experiencing real live rush coming at them, the down and distance. Drake has been the sole reason there is even a remote chance to sniff the post season.

The only thing that matters this season is that Drake establishes himself as an NFL QB. Clearly Maye could have played sooner, just as clear is that he had firm command of the huddle and calling plays when he got on the field. Pressure from the rest of the players helped get Maye to start which means that they were invested in his success. Compare that to the Bears where Williams was anointed as starter and the rest of the players are not invested in their QB. This season was never going to be championship level so I am simply happy that Maye will have enough time to prove that he is the clear #1 going into training camp next year.

Absolutely correct. Williams was named starter on draft night. Mayo took the right approach with Drake allowing him to compete for the job wich we all know he won however had to stick to the "plan". This season to me is already a successful one meaning we have our franchise QB, Mayo and his staff gained coaching experiences and settin the culture for his regime. Also still going be be able to get a top draft pick. For a rebuilding organization that's immense. Also the hope and optimism that's permeated through the team from the knowing they have a chance to be in games and win.
