Hello Pot, this is Kettle calling !
You always try to make people believe you do not hate Bill and the ones that defend him are 'Bill fans and not Pats fans' You have no idea what you are talking about. You criticize us for sticking up for Bill, but you are the one that jumped ship and became a Tampa fan for 3 years while Brady was there.
Wrong.
You defended him so much over anything Bill or the Pats did. So let me ask you this, why are you here ? You are clearly a TB fan and not a Pats fan, that much is very clear.
I simply pointed out that BB's decisions over his final couple of seasons heavily played a role in Mac Jones career going south and some posters just can't handle that or any other post that says not everything Bill did was perfect..so that makes me not a Pats fan. Great logic. Lol
Why would a 4th year QB like Jones still have the same mechanical issues he always had like throwing off his back foot? He is accused of having a weak arm but his mechanics are much worse and bad mechanics impact a lot of things like throwing power and accuracy.
And those habits were never coached out of him. What does that tell you about the coaching he got. Says it all.
Now that Brady has retired why don't you go join a Chiefs message board, since that's whom you want to win based on your avatar.
No "Chiefs fan" would have an avatar like I have.
It is very tiring seeing you call fans of Bill 'your hooded hero' and the constant pot shots you take at the ones that do defend him.
Some people just can't take it when someone points out that as great as BB was, not everything Bill did was perfect. It's really weird.
I can go back and look at many of your posts and how you are very hypocritical. You bash Bill and yet defend Tom when he says the exact same thing but in a different way.
I am a Brady fan, yes. I loved the partnership he had with Bill and that's what gave us the dynasty. In a way Brady was an offensive "coach" himself and that allowed Bill to do what he does best on defense. QB's like that don't come around very often. When it comes to great player vs great coach, I take the great player every single time. Would be the same in any sport.
When you get called out, you can't give anyone a straight answer. You pick and choose what you want to reply to .
You are absolutely a Bill hater, You said he lost you completely when he hired MP and JJ.
Yes he did. I was IBWT all the way until that happened.
If you did think he was the GOAT coach as you claim,, one decision would not make you loose complete faith in him after giving us 20 glorious years.
You're talking like I changed my mind and decided Bill always sucked as a coach. But yeah when those hires happened, I knew it was time for Bill to go.
Being an NFL head coach is not a lifetime achievement award. That's what the red and yellow jackets are for.
And my take is, Bill deserves as much if not more credit than Tom, without Bill there would be no Tom, at least not on the Pats.
From my perspective, great player >>>> great coach
Peyton Manning took a .300 college coach to a Super Bowl. Troy Aikman took a mid coach Barry Switzer to a championship. I don't remember the last time a great coach singlehandedly took a bad team to a championship. In any sport. Likely because that can't happen. It's all about the players, always was and always will be. And BB himself agrees with that.
Anyway I don't want to make this Tom vs Bill part XLVI, that was not my intention. I think it's completely fair to point out that the coaching dysfunction from 2022-2023 had a lot and I really do mean a lot more to do with Jones faceplanting in NE than anything else. If you think Jones always sucked and that excuses coach Bill then it's fair to wonder why GM Bill drafted him in the first round. And that's not "hating" except from the perspective of Bill apologists who can't tolerate anything that says their hero is less than perfect.
