I’m not totally out on Mayo yet… but Covington sucks, and AVP is not doing it for me either. But, I think it would be hard to keep Mayo and be able to find very good coordinators next year. They’d most likely be afraid it would be a 1 year gig and then they’d get canned when Mayo got canned. So you may end up needing to clean house.

Maybe Kraft will clean house in a frenzy, fire all of the coaches and accidentally sell the team.

Pats seem to get into this weird zone where the game is always within reach, so they still respect very conservative playcalling to avoid turnovers determining their fate. However, the game is close because of partly the defense and partly Tennessee playing terribly. The offense is, by large and in part, not a factor. It's as if... your offense.... should make some adjustments and do your best to take advantage of a team selling out to stop the run?

I mean **** it, right? At this point, nothing is a must-win, so let's try something different. This isn't a team that can just "do what it always does" because they suck - you gotta be good at what you do to keep doing it.

Covington not being able to stop a team with a pulse is almost more unforgivable because Mayo is a defensive guy and saw him up close on the coaching staff for 6 seasons and still gave him the DC job.

AVP was just a panic hire from a guy who knows nothing about offense and what system he wants to run, just got someone who was cheap and available.

This coaching staff is repeat offenders at that. Any more of this **** and someone needs fired. It's amateur hour.

82 yards for drake.. that's a full game for Brissett.. the run isn't there.. teams know that's what the Patriots want to do.. utilize drakes skills.. let him throw the ball around.

It’s not “must wins”. It’s that every win hurts draft prospects.

This team sucks too bad to get FAs so draft is the only way to get players.
