The Brady > Mahomes thread - It's not even close

Every single regular season that Mahomes has played so far still isn't as good as Brady's best season.

Every single regular season that Mahomes has played so far still isn't as good as Brady's best season.
The "Mahomes is the GOAT/best we've ever seen" people are actually delusional and people should just laugh at them.

Brady still clears him even if you keep it to 5 best consective years, so 2007-2012 Brady and 2018-2022 Mahomes. We know Brady beats him in 1 year peak and 5 year prime. And there's about a 0.1% chance Mahomes matches Brady's longevity numbers and overall winning. So what does Mahomes beat him at? The vibes? The eye test?

Another thing, has Mahomes failed to shake his opponents hand when losing a SB? No.

Can't say the same about Brady. He failed to shake the hand of his opponent whenever he lost the SB.

Mahomes is one of the most humble players to ever play in the NFL.

I remember when Brady was disrespecting the Giants defence before SB42 by saying "We're only going to score 17 points? Hahaha okay."

We all know what commenced at SB42. Pats offense couldn't even score 17 and Giants won the game with 17 points. Being ****y and arrogant didn't work out too well for Brady.

Lesson here is to stay humble.

Another thing in regards to 17 and SB42.

The Giant's game winning drive started at their 17 yard line and 17# caught the game winning TD for the Giants. The TD pass was also the Giant's 17th first down since forward pass TD's count as first downs.

The Giants clearly had the supernatural on their side. I mean not forgetting how Eli somehow escaped multiple Patriot defenders and threw the ball to David Tyree with a hall of fame safety draped all over him and he makes a miraculous catch. 999 times out of 1000 that play never happens.

The Giants beating this absolute machine of a team wasn't luck, it was destiny.

God had other plans. As David Tyree said after scoring a TD "It's all God. It's all God, baby." Tyree had not caught a touchdown all year long and never achieved 300 season yards receiving. He also had one of the worst practices of all time before the game. Yet somehow his road brought him to SB42 where he proceeded to join mighty company in the annals of football history.

New York Giants = 181 (English alphabetical gematria) and Pats fell to 18-1. Gematria is the practice of converting letters into numbers and this practice stems from the Torah and Tanakh.

I just looked up New York Giants = 181 in Google because I was curious and I discovered that Tyreek Hill had 181 receiving yards vs Giants last season lol.

Also, 181 is the 42nd prime number and this was SB42.

Gotta admit these are great plays by Mahomes. So clutch. Brady could never.

It also worked in the Pats favor.

Super Bowl 51 was one of the most coded games ever.

Super Bowl 51, on 2/5, with the 25 point comeback, was the 25th AFC SB win, and Tom Brady's 25th playoff win all-time. 25 is the 5th square and Pats won their 5th SB in the state of the five pointed star. It was the 97th NFL season and 97 is the 25th prime number and this was the season when touchbacks moved to the 25-yard line.

God again and some people say this stuff is proof that the NFL is rigged smh. People aren't sitting in a room trying to get this stuff lined up and players aren't going out playing to a script.

Sure, Julian Edelman's 4th quarter catch in that game was definitely setup too smh. Destiny.

Mahomes will no doubt have his own version of a goat case. It's a shame that this year the league is so weak. KC is winning despite looking awful on offense.

How many sock puppets are they going to let Andy have??

It's definitely close. No matter which one you peg as number one.

Brees after 10 games in 2009- 10-0, 2746 yards, 22/9 TD/int, 105.8 rating

Brady after 10 games in 2015- 10-0, 3320 yards, 25/4 TD/int, 107.4 rating

Looking at those names, the two names you posted, and that Facebook post of 2007 Brady and 2024 Mahomes, there is clearly only 1 of the 8 being dragged kicking and screaming by his defense and refs to an undefeated record.

Those names through 10 games

2005 Colts: 30.5 PPG (1st)
2007 Patriots: 41.1 PPG (1st)
2009 Colts: 26.9 PPG (4th)
2009 Saints: 36.9 PPG (1st)
2011 Packers: 35.5 PPG (1st)
2015 Patriots: 32.3 PPG (2nd)
2020 Steelers: 29.8 PPG (4th)

and the Chiefs currently:
2024 Chiefs: 24.3 PPG (11th)

Chiefs and Chiefs fans never cared about a perfect season. That is a pointless novelty. They have their eyes set on the 3-peat which will set them apart from all NFL dynasties. This loss was pretty forgettable.
