JETS SUCK 2024 EDITION (OFFICIAL): THE SECOND COMING

I can see Aaron Rodgers and Eliot Wolf scrambling to get any available former Packer.

This makes me realize that the Rodgers Experiment is going about as well for the current Jete as the Favre Experiment went sixteen seasons ago for the SOFJ. It's destined to be yet another learning experience for the Jete that they manage to learn nothing from. The common thread is that both of them cashed a lot of big paychecks from Woody Johnson, and left them with a big cap bill.

The toe sucker wants back in as the jest coach.......... after he has a snack

Asked if he’d accept the head coaching job with the Jets during an appearance on ESPN Radio’s “DiPietro & Rothenberg” on Monday, Rex Ryan responded with a resounding “in a second.”

“Because I am a New York Jet,” Ryan, 61, said. “I absolutely would.”

The main problem this time around is he'd be inheriting Bim's team on it's way down, not Mangina's on it's way up...

That, and the league has moved beyond his blitz-heavy defensive schemes.

Rex failed as HC of the Jete and the Jills, Rob failed as DC of dem Cowboys.

The common thing again would be that Woody's paychecks spend well, so of course Rex wants the job.

Remember the days when pundits seriously tried to argue this bozo was better than Brady...
Yes and it was annoying as hell. It was nice when the media finally turned on him after the loss at home to Tampa Bay in 2020. Bro was always complaining about not having HFA in the playoffs. He finally got it and choked. Got it again in 2021 with the 49ers and lost again.

Rex is an attention whore, and the jete on paper aren't that bad a team. He could be back in the spot light, the toast of new york, and jete land if he got the team going and started winning a few games The giants suck the stankees will probably lose the WS, the nicks and rangers are mediocare

Possibly Rodgers worst choke job was in 2011. He was MVP, had 4600 yards, 45 TDs, 6 INTs, and led the Packers to a 15-1 record. Coming off a first round bye, the Packers looked completely lifeless against the Giants at Lambeau. It wasn’t a close or fluke loss. The Giants played like they were the #1 seed with home field advantage.

He was a good QB I’ll give it to him but he was never on the same level of Tom Brady. Hell, he wasn’t even top three of his generation. Peyton Manning and Drew Brees were both better QBs.
Warner, Roethlisberger & Stafford are better too. Stafford doesn't get enough credit and now he has a ring too. Not his fault he got put on the Lions first.

Obviously Mahomes is better. Allen maybe too?

I'd probably put Rodgers as the best of the next group with guys like Favre, Rivers, and a few others.

Note: I tried to keep it to guys he at least overlapped and played at the same time. Hope I didn't forget someone.

Second edit: I think Favre might actually still hold the belt over Rodgers too. At least he got back to a second SB. Probably deserves to be ahead of Stafford for the same reason too. Plus his passing stats came in the older era.

He might be better than Stafford at his peak

They each have 1 SB ring. Rodgers played on the better team more often.

Rodgers has the TDs and Int stats. But only one season over 4500 yards. Stafford did it 4 including 1 over 5k.

Either way He's obviously not Brady.

Or even in the Montana, Mahomes, Manning tier.

He's in with the rest of the still extremely great group.

I might be wrong, but I expect the Jete to beat Houston tonight at home. Both of the Texans' top WRs are out and New Jersey's season officially will be kaput with a loss.

I'm leaving today
I want no part of it
New York, New York

These vagabond shoes
Are longing to stray
From the very sight of it
New York, New York

I wanna wake up
In a city that doesn't stink

It would’ve been his worst had he not followed that up with his defense getting 5 turnovers, yet still found a way to lose in 2014. That is his worst choke job.

I'm confident da Jete will find a new and better way to suck.
