I don't think so. Tua might be the rare one, driven, but I'd say there's many many more who are spoiled brats.

What you talkin' 'bout? I'll have you know this warrior bravely survived being carried to the locker room

Haha that’s an organization saying their own draft pick is a bust.

Terrible look but even in his case how many games did he miss?

Nowhere near enough

It’s bizarre. In the past five years fully 1/3 of the league would have been better off giving old Joe Flacco the starting job rather than the high profile QB move they did do. Including us with Mac Jones and the Jets twice.

It's almost like giving QB's time to prepare is pretty important in most cases.

I think a lot of players have commented on one of the scariest things about Brady was how he'd just get back up and immediately go back to work. It's small little things like that (along with some huge talent issues) that Mac lacked. Especially for a guy who'd get pissy and slide weird on players, you at least gotta be the toughest mf on the field to be an *******.

This is just like when scouts ignore things about wide receivers just because they're big and/or fast.

They ignore the rest of the scouting report... "struggles to get open, has concentration lapses"....

For QBs, you can add 'strong arm' along with 'fast'. They'll ignore 'inaccurate', 'struggles to read defenses', 'doesn't know how to protect their body'.

... 'has twenty five different masseuses he's only seen once' ...

Don't think I've ever seen a QB leave a game because he's tired, that has to be a first.
Yeah can you imagine Tommy telling Bill he needed to come out of the game for a breather? That is up there with Vontae Davis retiring at halftime

I'm not saying this is the case with Richardson, but in general, these young players coming out have money in their pocket from their NIL deals, and perhaps don't have the drive to continue any level of success. For every elite, driven Tiger Woods/Tom Brady/Michael Jordan type, there's 100s of kids coming out with a ton of ability and no idea what it takes to make it, never mind be truly great. Further, coaches have to find new ways to get these kids ready. A 20 something with a few mill in the bank and a track record of being the best player on the field his whole life isn't going to respond to hard coaching like Brady did with Bill. Most will reject it. They have already hit the lottery, and they don't need to listen to any BS coach-speak.
Based on Steichen's comments at the press conference it seems like they don't even want to frame this as a "week to week" thing. He said Flacco is the starter going forward and was pretty definitive which makes me think they don't like what they have seen from Richardson as far as maturity and preparation. I think Steichen and Ballard are hoping that they catch lightning in a bottle with Flacco who has played pretty well the last year or so and they don't end up losing their jobs.

He never, ever, Evah should’ve started that MNF game vs da Bears. I cant believe I actually had to argue that point with some people here… Then the game happened, and Everyone had to admit that it was a ****ing COLOSSAL ****ing mistake by Billy; it was also the beginning of The End for both him & Corky in Foxborough.

Completely different point. All I was saying was the Kid toughed it out to get back on the field.

How can you ever play a QB again who taps out because he is tired after a second and goal play when your team is down 20-10 late in the third? The guy literally abandoned his teammates in a crucial third down situation.
