Game Day Thread 2024 OFFICIAL Game Day Thread: Week 7 - NE vs JAX (in London!)

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Covington is way in over his head. I do think Dugger has been the biggest disappointment and can anyone name who the actual starter is opposite of him??

This defense is softer than wet tissue paper. I don’t want to hear Mayo utter the word “tough” to describe this team again.

This is what a team looks like when you fire the best head coach of all time and then proceed to not even interview a single external HC/GM candidate. Rot from the top down and it starts with Handy Bob. Sad but true.

and just like that. Defense decides to just give up again. sigh.

Barmore???? Bentley???? Peppers?????.... ugh... I think it would...
You are full of excuses. We won a SB with Troy Brown and Earthwind Moreland as CBs. Please.

A perfect throw and catch is impossible to defend. Thomas is a beast. We need to get Maye one of those, Polk ain't it
Gonzalez gave him all the space he needed on the inside. It was a great play but he made it easier the way he gave him so much space on the inside.

Yeah but he also needs time for that play to setup and throw

No talent , no talent, no talent.!!!

I’d trade him for a second rounder tomorrow of offered. Overpaid and in no way a game changer.

So infuriating. We see Maye come in and it does improve the offense. even with that horrendous front line. and then defense is like naw boi. I am quitting. what the hell is with this team?

Run on first down again.

Our defense can't stop the pass, can't stop the run, we can't run the ball, we can't protect the QB, the WRs stink and the coaching is questionable and the GMs first 2 WR picks look like Aaron Dobson and Tyquan Thornton at least Maye looks good.
