Per pft, based on schefters report/info ... raidahs get a 3rd, maybe a 2nd if Adams basically goes all world in the remainder of the season... stretch to say the least for a 31 year old with a hammy issue... adams will probably bump mike williams out of the rotation... so the jete get him for a 3rd...

The Raiders will receive a third-round pick in exchange for Adams, but it could become a second-round pick if either of two conditions are met.

Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, Las Vegas gets a second-round selection if Adams is named an AP first- or second-team All-Pro or if Adams is on the active roster for the AFC Championship Game.

the qb free agent class is full of old guys hanging on and a bunch of retreads... sam darnold, zach wilson, mac jones, justin fields & russell wilson, trey lance and jameis winston to name a few guys who will hit free agency next year...

Darnold will probably stay in minny... can see pitt keeping fields... Imagine a world where Mac Jones might be (one of) the best options for team looking for a qb... the jete do have a contract year for AR in 2025 before his deal hits the void years... given the lack of talent, he will probably be back...

You are acting as if Ahole thinks things through logically.

IMO he won't get off the stage till he's pushed off the stage.

As you suggest, da Jete don't have any other good options at QB.

I think it's likely Ahole lobbies to bring back the band and the Jete brass have no better option but to do just that.

I think it's likely he pressures da Jete into signing Adams long term on a Lazard-like contract so $13M+ a year.

As usual, doubling down on expensive aging players is a bad strategy, but for da Jete it's all about being on the back page of NYP and NYDN.

Woody Johnson has shown time and time again it's all about the big splash rather than fixing the structural issues.

The Jets are in a bad situation. They are desperate to be releveant so they have no choice but to cave to Rodgers demands.

Does anyone else wonder why if this was the right move to make, why da Jete didn't make it before the big game with their divisional rivals, and instead waited till after they had the head-to-head loss? I doubt the Raider's asking price changed much if at all, and if it's the right move to make they should have done it when it could have made a huge difference to their season.

Rodgers had a game to prepare for and play in so he was too busy to finalize the trade until after.
