He OBSERVED it himself. Godchaux, Peopers, Polk, Douglas have literally commented about the things he said and verified them.A report is where you're printing quotes from players or unnamed sources (I'm not a fan of this kind of report but it's better than nothing).
An opinion is where you're giving your opinion with no quotes or other verifiable data to back them up.
Here I'll give you an example. Player A and Player B are getting into a heated argument across the locker room from me. I run to social media and say that the locker room is in disarray and the players are at each other's throats. That's an opinion.
If I go and talk to Player A or B and they said they were just getting into it because the other guy owed him $100 and then I report that with a quote. That's a report.
No you responded to a very troubling report by saying “so?”I never contradicted it. I simply implied there could be some nuance to the situation. That really shouldn't be a controversial take.
Walk the plank off the schmeiser. What does mutiny even mean in this context?
He’s a patriot employee and the patriots took it down.He withdrew what he said. Thats a start
The also have pretty much the same roster (minus injuries) that was put together by the last coach and they could be heading to the same record. No surprise there. And changed coaches. Did you think teams fire a coach in order to get the same result?
Why would he make it up? Clicks. There's nothing going on with this team and there's only so many articles you can't write about how the O-line sucks and Jacoby is below average at best. There's no buzz so why not create some?He OBSERVED it himself. Godchaux, Peopers, Polk, Douglas have literally commented about the things he said and verified them.
What do you have to contradict it? He said “offense is blaming offense” “defense is blaming defense” he cited the on the field antics of the wide receivers. He literally said I WAS IN THE LOCKER ROOM
Why would he make it up? Has Lazar ever been that kind of reporter? He is a team employee.
Yeah yeah yeah...He’s a patriot employee and the patriots took it down.
I mean if your goal is to bury your head in the sand, then covering up bad stories is certainly a good start.
I don't think he made it up. Listen to what he said: WRs are upset at a QB who can't get them the ball and a defensive lineman being upset at freelancers. It's not mutiny but there's tension, which isn't really a surprise on this team right now.Why would he make it up? Clicks. Then went on to question its validity.
HahaThe fact that he retracted his statement.
You are correct my badYeah, that wasn't me. You've combined me with another poster.
Frustration isn't in the same league as mutiny. He was giving his overwrought opinion.I don't think he made it up. I’m not concerned about his choice of words I’m concerned about the events and mood in the Locker room that would cause an honest reporter to draw that opinionIts not a matter of lying its more about his choice of words.
Agreed. But the frustration is real.Frustration isn't in the same league as mutiny. He was giving his overwrought opinion.
So you think its ok to use a word like "mutiny" and then retract it and you are not concerned. I think you need to re think.I’m not concerned about his choice of words I’m concerned about the events and mood in the Locker room that would cause an honest reporter to draw that opinion
He seemed to be saying the team will demand a qb changeWhat does mutiny even mean in this context?
I do think "mutiny" is strong language. You can't really have a true mutiny; the players can't overthrow the coaches and take over the team. I think the term here is meant to say that they are on the verge of giving up and not caring anymore. Trade demands. Etc.What does mutiny even mean in this context?
