Bill took a chance on the last QB available at 15. This QB was able to lead the team to the playoffs. How many of non-top 5 QB's do that? And if Jones was terrible, wasn't a potential starting QB still worth taking a shot, given the various evaluations of him?
We'll never know how Jones would have turned out without the Year 2 change to Patricia and Judge. Sure, Jones had a lot to learn after his first year. Patricia and Judge weren't reasonable choices as teachers,
So, yes, the pick of Jones is on Bill. However, so are the choices of Patricia and Judge.
