We all knew this was going to happen. And now that it is…people are freaking out. Don’t get it.
I believe alot of it has to do with how the product was presented in the "honey phase "... even myself I admit I was sold that we'd be a better team.. better off than the last few. Seemingly I was wrong.. the offense is leagues worst and there is absolutely nothing Brissett can do, say or show to Drake that he doesn't already understand right now. I can bet you we will be in a Rock fight with Skylar Thompson or Huntley

We drafted a guy but we are actually never gonna play him because we are too scared for him to actually play football. Seriously what are we doing ?

So next year if the line is injured again, are you benching him in season because you are too scared he’ll get injured too?
Lack of talented OL vs a talented OL that has injuries is apples and oranges. I would still play him. It's two different scenarios.

Says the guy who can’t back up his obviously wrong statement.
Prove me wrong. If it happened you have proof.
I’ll make a deal with you. If you can prove it I’ll stop posting here, but if you can’t then you stop posting here?
I graded the prediction like your posts. Total BS and material to laugh at.

Why dont you keep working on viewing the videos of open NE WRs.

So the answer is yes, you are lying. Gotcha. Coward.

I'd play him just to try something different. Easy for Miami to game plan Brissett....

Yeah.. of all the guys to keep.. don't understand why we kept the former GMs lemons in Wheatley, Anderson and lowe. Lowe is another guy who's either sucked or been hurt since he's been here.. I don't know what wolf was thinking.
Anderson contracted malaria, let me know how you predict injuries and rare tropical diseases... should be interesting?

Lowe and Wheatley were Wolf guys, Wheatley came from Wolf's last team and he clearly loves Lowe as he penciled him in as a day one starter and spoke glowingly about him this preseason.

But whether he was the last GM's guys or not... relying on them and Okorafor was a mistake.

Bill signed acquired both players wozzy... they weren't any good then and they aren't now. Wheatley so bad he was cut, Lowe can never stay on the field.. when he is.. he's a MBTA turnstile.. I agree it was a mistake.. chuks must have seen how bad Brissett was and just decided to quit while he was ahead.

Gee I wonder what GM thought a kicker who ended up busting was worth the 112th pick of the draft. I wonder if it was the same guy that spent a pick on another kicker the year before who didn't make the team at all....
Two draft picks, a punter and a kicker. They missed on the kicker and found an All Pro caliber punter, that's good drafting average. If we could hit on 50% of their picks going forward I'd be ecstatic.
You literally said last season the line was doing a great job after week 3 and scoffed at my stats showing they were one of the worst pass blocking lines in the NFL. Should be clear now that it was not even close to great and played a huge role in the two QBs falling on their faces.
I literally said after the first two weeks the offensive line was the single biggest problem on the team. Then most of the starters got back healthy for week 3 and they rushed for 157 yards and gave up zero sacks against a top five defense in the Jets.

Didn't matter much after that because Mac fell off a cliff and the line started sustaining more injuries and Trent Brown, one of their highest graded linemen to that point gave up on the season when he realized the offense was terrible and he wouldn't reach the incentives in his contract... a result of sucking.
Oh I do blame Bill for the lack of talent on the roster, he owns it all. As for Wolf it was only an f-up if you think Bill's mess was an easy fix in one offseason and the team was a contender this year. I didn't believe that. But I'm giving him and the rest of the coaching staff at least a year to sort it out.
You blame Bill for everything even though collaboration was announced by the owner in 2021 and a multitude of reports say BB didn't have final say on draft picks or personnel.

You hate BB, you have an agenda... nobody can take anything you say seriously.

But blame BB, you can milk this for years and protect the current regime for all their dumb mistakes... like you're doing now.

#Collaboration

I didnt like how the network referee commentator Pererria was not available to analyze a questionable 49ers completion that hit the ground but they managed to find him in los angeles to say Polks nice catch was no good in his opinion.

Acquired is an interesting way to put it when we're talking about 6th and 7th rounders.

These are really throwaway picks, see what sticks on the dart board.

That was absurd from Pereira. There was no movement of that ball and he said there was. Even said it was out of bounds because the defender touched it when he was standing out of bounds.

That made absolutely no sense.

I think lowe was a 6th rounder we traded for from Minnesota?

They missed on 2 kickers, spending draft picks on a position where talent can be found among the UDFAs.

They could not pass block and I backed that up with the numbers last season.

If it was all the QB then we would have seen an immediate improvement when we went from Jones to Zappe. That did not happen. Partly because the very same line with mostly the same players as this season wasn't good then either.

Bill had final say on everything. Not debatable. That was his job.

BB really left this roster a smoking crater... hard to judge the new regime right now when they have a mess of this magnitude to clean up.

One thing fans should be mightily concerned about: the OC.

I saw some things yesterday that made me think he's not up to this.

I have faith in Mayo, but I fear he has been saddled with a lose/lose situation. Who was picking the OC for this team? This offensive staff may not be up to snuff.

Case in point: early on Rham was throttled when Jacobs pulled and Tyquan downblocked.

Well, the guy Tyquan tried to cut was a 300+ pound DT.

Who designed this? Who had Jacobs leaving his spot so that Tyquan could take on a behemoth?

Are you kidding me?

That was coaching malpractice.

I'm not going to blame Mayo for this debacle since I believe the front office has put him in a very bad situation.

What did the front office/ownership do?

1. Sat in on personnel negotiations.
2. Sat in on coaching hires.
3. Oversaw a dismal draft that squandered the highest draft picks since 1993.
4. Failed in free agency.

This was a quadruple whammy that put Mayo in a very difficult spot.

It's been compounded by many serious injuries.
