Saying it now. If we end up with the 1st or 2nd overall pick we should without any hesitation be looking to trade for a haul.

The way teams that several teams have made a big leap is to multiply a top pick to 3 or 4 valuable assets. Chicago, Houston, Miami, & Philly have all done that in the past few drafts.

Not sure if this post is sarcasm or what. Gonzales looks to be decent? He’s played 7 games in the NFL and already looks to be one of the best corners in football.

Maye doesn’t belong in the NFL?

Gonzo is already a very good NFL corner, and he seeems to get better every game. There is NO on-the-field evidence whatever to this point , aside from a few preseason snaps, that drafting Maye was either a good or a bad draft pick. Reports out of practice have been positive and trending consistently upward. Let's not throw a blanket over the few actual bright spots we have.

Given that this owner, organization, and fanbase ran a six-time Super Bowl-winning coach out-of-town after just one single shot at drafting a QB (far and away the most important position in sports), the last thing I want to hear from anyone is about “loyalty.”

Why do people even care if Maye starts. This season is a wash. Need another top 5 pick and some serious FA signings to even approach “competitive”… buckle up it’s gonna suck for a while.

We are probably 8-10 players away from being relevant. A half-baked rookie QB isn’t going to solve this.

I've said it before, but I still cannot believe that in the (foolish, IMO) Brady vs BB debate, it was Kraft who resoundingly lost. He went from someone I really admired to being a ****.

He was - genuinely - the best coach ever until his last couple of years. He was never a great GM. In the end, he was a failed GM and a failing coach. It happens. In one manner or another, it happens to everyone. Sic transit gloria mundi.

How about plating some hurry up when down by 17 in the 4th quarter? How about going for it on 4th and short when on the opposing 40 early i. The game? I realize they went for it on 4th down a few times once they were down by double digits.

Just seems like they have no urgency.

They need to run a gun spread offense with Maye, quick game, RPO, run options. The problem is, I don’t think AVP has the skill to run an offense like that.

But they don’t have the players to run AVP under center offense.

I think AVP is able to call a different style of game with different types of plays. I really think that he has been hampered by JB. Yesterday JB turned a NFL open dig and hitch into sacks. He just doesn't ****ing throw because his accuracy is spotty and I don't think he reads defenses very well.

Don't read Defenses Well? JB doesn't: De Douglas 3 catches 13 yards with a long of 8 so he has five yard on his other two catches.

Belichick was sort of a **** as well, in a good way, perhaps. I will say, with some fear of being misunderstood, that there are times when there is nothing wrong with admiring a ****, as the kerfuffle over the mutilation of the Hermes might suggest..

There isn’t one positional grp aside from the 2 kickers that you look at the team and say “we’re looking real good there.” I hate to say it, but if this past offseason was any indicator, 2-3 year rebuild isnt within the realm of possibility. Maye can be a ****ing rockstar and its not going to fix the OL, front 7, mediocre LB corps, CB depth beyond Gonzales, 2 SS’s roaming the backfield. Maye might make the receivers look at little better but the talent still isn’t there either. Wolf has his work cut out for him and I really dont know if he’s the right man for the job.

I understand it may seem precipitous, but if you take into account Wolfe's significant role in failings under Belichick, I think it is time to out losses and fire Wolf.

Can someone explain to me in simple sentences why a team who drafted ahead of us in the draft are already looking this good while we have become the laughing stock of the league? If the answer is they made better hires then that's an admission of incompetence not an excuse. Yes, they have Daniels, but let's be honest if we had Daniels he'd be holding the clipboard.

Simplest explanation: they are playing the player they selected we are not.
