Coaching lost this game...why would you punt on 4 and 1 in OT?

If you can't trust your offense to get that much, then just kneel and let the other team win.
Yeah I admit….that was a horrific decision

Pats aren't making teams defend every blade of grass. On a replay receivers were open, Jacoby just wouldn't throw it. I don't think he threw it outside the numbers at all this game.

Jacoby deserves credit for his bravery behind an OL that can’t pass block and he had done a great job multiple times evading the rush over the first two weeks but he just does not have the athleticism or talent to then actually make a play. He is who we thought he was.

Not sure how you are able to maintain locker room when wide receivers don't even get a chance.

Another 2 games at most is what I see Brissett playing . The calls for maye will start to thunder. The offensive line is not catastrophic.
In OT, 4th and 1 from the 35 or so, given the way the game went, you gotta roll the dice and go for it.

I know the WRs aren’t worldly but what’s the deal with lack of targets? Are they not getting open or is the QB scared?

Yeah I admit….that was a horrific decision
Yeah I didn’t like that call either. Didn’t see it, was it a full yard? I knew when it went to OT it was gonna be hard. We just don’t have any playmakers on offense, none. It’s completely nonexistent in terms of chunk plays. Really hard to win in that scenario. Probably looking at 4 or 5 wins again. I wanna see what Drake can do

That hit Jacoby took will give Mayo a window to play the kid if he wants to take it...

Jacoby blew it, nothing else to say. Chip shot field goal had a good chance of winning the game. Instead he takes an idiotic sack and they not only miss the field goal but also give Seattle a short field with which to go get their own field goal to tie it and go to OT.

I definitely think they need to go to Maye. As others have said by now, if your "mentor" is making mistakes that the rookie would be making, what's the point of playing him?

I'm sure that they will not turn to Maye on a short week against the Jets (game in 4 days from now), but with a mini-bye after that, could happen. SF is a tough first start, but they'd have 10 days to get him ready to go.

Bottom line is Pats do not have the talent to win most games they play.
Effort A+
Talent D
Coaching A- given the talent

This team doesn't have D talent come on.

We don't beat the Bengals on the road and should have beaten the Seahawks if not for a dumb sack with D level talent.

This team is pretty close. We don't know what we have at receivers because Brissett doesn't look beyond 10 yards. Geno for example was throwing it to his guys even though defenders were right draped all over them. At least he gives them a chance with a catchable ball or possible PI. Brissett has to throw it up and give his guys a chance.

Brisset has been really good in short yardage. Maybe he was just too banged up to try it, but thats a situation you gotta nutt up and make it happen
Once it went to OT, knew they would lose.
Pats did not deserve to win

Mayo made a BAD CALL by declining the penalty and giving Seattle 3& 5 instead of 2&12 early on.

Brissett's execution SUCKED today.

Onwenu, unfortunately, showed what I'd been saying about his ability to play RT. It's OK, but nothing spectacular. He was beaten numerous times today.

The announcers reported that Lowe got hurt. I don't know if this is true.

We are who we thought we are .... nbd.

I'm trying to figure out how WALLACE was playing LT, but didn't report as eligible and so received a penalty for it.
I think Lowe returned and Wallace moved to TE.

Losing is a good thing. Thai team has five more possible wins on the schedule tops.

Id rather see the team show development. They looked much better last week as opposed to this week. So its a definite negative

Pop Douglas.........What's going on there?
Looked like TT out there today.. Speaking of our “One Catch Wonder” - 2 games played and 2 passes caught…

I'm ready for Maye. JB is supposed to be the steady vet who won't make mistakes. If we're going to see the kinds of mistakes Brissett is making and endure the fact that he never looks at a WR then let's have Maye. He's going to make mistakes too but at least he'll put some life into the offense.
What are the chances that Brissett’s leg stiffens up on him and he can’t go on the short week?
