Game Day Thread 2024 OFFICIAL Week 2 Game Day Thread: NE vs SEA

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

While we wait for kickoff…. @UGAPatsfan what happened in KY??

Edit: where is everyone?

Is it only me or are tweets slow to load?
I had the white circle trying to load or whatever it is.....how is that for a technical term

It's weird that we have 2 decent OL draft picks that are injured and that could improve the line, but they're both LG.
Sow seems better suited for Guard.
With the departure of Okra, should they at least take a flyer on trying Strange at backup LT. To see if he can challenge Lowe.
He's certainly more athletic and tenacious. Despite Strange's horrible start with injuries, this is the year to see if he's worth keeping.
Next year a true top LT seems inevitable.

I’m all in on your last sentence.

Have a feeling this team will surprise us this year. Well more than it has already. Not first round bye level surprise but wc.

Man…they really seem to always struggle in that first SEC road game. No idea what it is.

D line was thin and banged up but D was fine mostly.

Beck looked AWFUL as did the entire offense.

Could be a bad sign with Bama in 2 weeks OR a typical Georgia aberration and they win handily in Tuscaloosa.

Actually hoping they drop in the poll…Kirby would love that ammo.

Yeah, I get that. I’m ready for sec play and see what the Vols really look like.

Looking to see what Polk brings to the table... hope he takes snaps away from Osborn

Two of the waiver players are active: DT Johnson and OG/OT Thomas. I am interested in Johnson. Last week, they elevated Practice Squad Hill instead of having Johnson active.

If Baker is even marginally OK in the next couple of weeks (in games and practices), I could see Boutte getting cut as soon as we need the roster spot. We don't need the spot now. I would note that if we want to keep Jordan on the 53, he can take Okorafor's roster spot, so that situation doesn't affect Boutte.

jay glazers suit is fugly

Massive test of strength vs weakness for one side and strength vs strength the other - Seahawks DL vs OL and Pats Secondary vs WRs/TEs.

Gotta play with the lead or this will be ugly. Theme of the season until they can develop more of the passing game.

lol, the EV hummer. It’s cool but I love how they show it being tough out in the middle of nowhere. Nowhere to charge it either

Edit: Random thought sorry, the commercial just came on
