Hightower was definitely in a different context.
Still no kenneth walker or noah fant
No George Fant either, their starting Right Tackle.
With this defense, it could happen.Imagine if we start 2-0?
Is there an "X's and O's" thread someplace?
Meantime, this is of interest - everyone playing with a light box and cover-2 style defenses and forcing checkdowns. Depth of throws dramatically down. (Also a lot of inexperienced QBs).

I saw somewhere where espn had us ranked 15th . Not that that means anything. As I never have been a big fan of the schedule. You play the games I. Front you never know how they will turn out. I expect little more balance offensively this game and the offense will always be game plan specific. AVP said it best we don't have say household name guys but we have capable guys on offense. IMO to maximize this offense polk and baker should be involved more. KJ Osborne should be a guy who comes in in packages.Let's be clear. We are NOT evaluating last week's game. We are looking forward.
So, you believe that for Game 2, you believe that
Brissett is an average QB, in the middle of the pack, about 15 better and 15 worse.
Our Wr's are in the middle of the pack, about 15 better and 15 worse.
Our OL is in the middle of the pack in the middle of the pack, about 15 better and 15 worse.
I strongly disagree.
Boutte is our least valuable WR. For me, he is one of three worst players on the roster and could be cut at any point without any negative effects.

Pettus, Pharma & Leverett all say Hold my clipboard…
Per reiss layden is taking his normal reps today after being added to the injury report yesterday. Thinking itll be lowe-Jordan-andrews-layden-onwenu again
That OL was more than serviceable I want C Wallace in the mix more. Really hope they call for more play action knowing the opponent. We need some Big plays downfield.
Knock on wood but it seems like V Lowe has improved a little Canton watch out. That said if C Wallace continues to improve he will pay dividends for us next year.Guessing you mean c wallace at LT? That would be ideal. Imagine getting capable starters at both rg and lt from rounds 3 and 4 and completing the starting OL in one season where qb and wr were prioritized, would be an amazing job by the FO. But if they even cut it down to one need for next year plus some depth i would take that too.
This "rare plan" is exactly why Brisk is here as opposed to someone like Zap. I'm guessing anything close to a blowout either way, "it's gonna be..."Read a report somewhere yesterday that Drake Maye is taking 30% of the first string practice reps... Interesting if true. Hurts Jacoby a bit but would seem like a clear indication that they're trying to still prep Maye to start soon.
