The Right Side looks Ironed out to me I would just play Onwenu @ RT if Robinson is comfortable @ RG. Let Lowe and Wallace spilt the Reps @ LT not the worse situation. We have Sow and Strange coming back we are not as bad as perceived if everybody is healthy. Lowe played decent against a Very Good DE time to dump that Garbage Chuckwuma Oakafor.

Before cutting Okorafor, I'd like to see Jacobs or Wallace demonstrate that they are Ok as an LT backup.

To be clear, I hope that this will happen in the next couple of weeks. After all, our roster has 5 OT's plus Thomas, guard who can also play OT.

I would hold onto okorafor personally for now. He cant play LT but hes been serviceable on the right side if needed. Ideally wed like to see cadean take over there so onwenu can move back to guard. Still time to find our best combo

There is no advantage of cutting him this week instead of in a couple of weeks. His compensation is guaranteed. The team is evaluating Jacobs, Thomas and those on the Practice Squad.

Robinson damn near got Brissett killed. I wouldn't say it's settled in the slightest.

Why does the right side look ironed out to you?

Robinson's pass blocking better improve or Brissett is going to be lost for the season, and a few of Rham's worse runs were to the right side (tackled for a loss). I don't know if the Bengals are especially strong on their left side.

Just because chuks cant play LT doesn’t mean he can’t still play a role here.

Second best no he's not he should be on the Taxi squad. Did you see how quickly he was benched Mayo is paying attention. IF Mayo wants Brissett to stem the tide until Maye is ready he won't play that bum Chukwuma.

My preference of course is wallace eventually taking the spot unless robinson fixes his game and turns out to be a beast where you might consider leaving onwenu at rt but wallace nees to show hes ready first. he played plenty of snaps at rt in preseason and got nobody hurt while others nearly got jacoby killed. I just remember his run blocking being less than desirable but he was reliable in pass protection

The Good Onwenu is healthy so anybody else is a backup RT to him right now stay healthy Michael. We are paying you like a RT.

Yeah if onwenu or even lowe get hurt its gonna be a scary sight until one of the prospects show something theyre all still pretty raw though at least wallace is getting some experience as 6th OL. Thats still nothing like manning RT on his own though

REPEAT TEN TIMES
1) Chucks did NOT look good in pre-season at LT.

2) Chucks did not start for years at LT.

If RT vs LT doesn't matter, the obvious answer is to have Onwenu start at LT. Clearly, experience at LT vs Rt means a lot.

If Wallace really isn't ready to be the RT backup, Chuks should stay. Otherwise Okorafor should be waived as soon as the team has even a little bit of faith in one of the other LT's.

Also, we will continue to have tryouts and scout the Practice Squads for a backup center.

I don't know how old you are but Ron Wolf held tryouts all the time to always try to improve the bottom of the roster and PS.
