Hard part will be if a sure-fire blue chipper at another position drops to them.

There is not projected to be a sure fire LT in this draft. Kid from LSU was closest but he did not impress me vs USC.

Pierce, Hunter, Mcmillan, Graham, and Morrison all seem more likely to be franchise players than any of the top LT’s.

Trade back?
if the pats see the board similarly then yes trade back. Or solve the tackle issue in FA and go BPA (minus qb).

You're making things up.

He didnt show anything saying Brady was on the decline. He showed Kraft a study showing how 37 year old QBs deteriorate. These are 2 entirely different things.
Kraft took away some of BBs power because he told Kraft that Brady was about done. That is a fact directly via Bob Kraft.

Kraft had a choice - Brady goes or BB goes. Kraft trusted his HC and allowed Brady to leave.

Welcome back Special Teams! We've missed you so, and you did it without taking up three extra ST players on the roster.

Great punts, Schooler was a star and a fumble caused by a long-snapper. Reliable kicking. And no stupid penalties (except for the first play of the game).

One of the biggest plusses today. This is really how the st should have looked every year considering the personnel but somehow cam achord was allowed to infest the team for 3 years. Entire coaching staff is off to a great start, hope to see more of it.

They won the game because Brissett did not make mistakes (turnovers)
Maye would have made mistakes and they probably would have lost

Maye is learning by watching

I’m confident there’s posters on this board who could coach STs more effectively than Achord.

That's just a big injection of confidence. The team was disciplined, confident, well coached. There's a ceiling with this offense to be sure but you've gotta be feeling good right now.
Getting the win monkey off their back the first game really changes the mental outlook for the season while not changing anything for their record. It was a good win, the Pats played to their talent level, were disciplined and wanted the game more while the Bengals did not take them seriously. Even if the team loses their next three to get to their predicted record, the vibe will be positive as long as the team plays hard and is competitive. We now have proof that there is the foundation to build from.

They were probably watching the game rooting for the Patriots.
If they were rooting for the Patriots to win they aren't the BB fanboyz I was talking about. It's the ones who would rather the team lose than concede that the coaching staff did a better job of putting this team in a position to win than last year's staff did. Yes some Patriots fans are petty enough to just want to be right rather than have the team win

I just woke up a few minutes ago. Was sick as a dog. No, not hungover.
Was shocked it was 5pm.
Was even more so when I checked online for the score.
Damn, wished I'd seen that.
Just reading the box score it looked like Rhamondre,Keion White and the OL!! The OL!! were all key
Nice start

Did you watch last year? Even the Belichick haters constantly made the point that the team was fighting hard and didn't quit.

I didn't say anything about WR picks because one of them was a bust (Harry), the other looks very good (Douglas) and a guy that maybe was a bust is maybe finally showing his value (like he did today).
I agree those are 2 different things and it was just a coincidence that we had a 37 year old QB at the time. Ummmm what???
It was directly related to having TB thus implying that TB was going to decline.

Both lines started losing the line of scrimmage in the third quarter but both sides fought back and took back the line of scrimmage, that might be what impressed me the most.
