Magic Eight Ball says “Most Likely”@Zuma
Do you think the conversation from the coaching staff was we are playing the Patriots we don't need Higgins?
LOL.. the thought just dawned on me.Magic Eight Ball says “Most Likely”

Oh I know was just being fecicous. But it's telling that how we are perceived now nationally. I agree Higgins has had issues with his hamstring. I just hope we come and play hard and looks capable on offense. No one will believe us until we show it.I don't think we necessarily need to go that far in this case. Higgins has a history of hamstring issues, and it's week 1 of a 17 game season. I think they're being cautious so that he doesn't miss more games later in the year because they rushed him back for one in September. I'm sure they feel pretty confident still going into this one, but I bet he'd be sitting even if they were playing the Chiefs week 1.
The looking capable part is most applicable to Brissett. It will be a better situation if Maye earns the starting job instead of a replay of how Zappe got the job last year.Oh I know was just being fecicous. I dunno, I can think of plenty of times including early last season when they all missed games.I can't ever remember a time during the last say 20 plus seasons that I've been this concerned about the line. They are who they are. The best 5 are going to have to man up and get the job done.
I know. I'm reffing to the dissaray of this seasons o lineI dunno, I can think of plenty of times including early last season when they all missed games.
Yeah. Including myself alot of us want Drake in there. I think a few weeks of Brissett and the calls we come for Drake. Last seasons offense just put such a cloud over offensive hopes this season. The looking capable part is most applicable to Brissett. Burton& Irwin I believe.. Higgins is listed as doubtful.Does anyone know what the Bengals depth at receiver is behind Chase and Higgins?
The biggest factor that determines the strength of schedule is the divisions you play. If it's a season where a team plays the NFCS and the AFCS it's going to be easier.Krafty Bob not cutting the checks to Goodell and the schedule makers. Note that Lurie's check cleared. Top team last year and they have a cake schedule... It's not luck. They schedule makers decide on when teams play. Days of rest. Times etc. Those have a huge impact on the strength of schedule.
It could. Our cannon fodder vs. their cannon fodder. Sort of World War I revisited. One thing I think people missed… Amarius Mims is OUT for Cincy. He wasn't starting necessarily, but with him out and their other reserve tackle on IR, their only two tackles are Trent Brown at RT and Orlando Brown at LT. If one of them gets hurt, winded or just needs to leave the field for any reason (hmm, has this ever happened to Trent Brown?) then the Bengals are left with whatever practice squad fodder they call up. Could play a role in the game…
Only 3 of the 17 games are determined by last season's standings. The other 14 are pre-determined by a set rotation.Days of rest?
Who wants to look that up?
Air miles flown?
Time zones crossed?
My point is that these strength of schedules now factor in more than the opponents last seasons records.
Get with the times!!
Yep. I suspect they sleeping like babies.I think the OL will be ok tomorrow and the offense will move the ball surprisingly well. Bengals are sleeping on us and we’re gonna give them a game.
They also have Iosivas in the slot who is pretty solidBurton& Irwin I believe.. Higgins is listed as doubtful.
