Maye must play

How do you adjust to the speed of the game if you aren’t playing the game?
Simple, you watch and you practice. You can easily see how much faster the game is and how tighter the windows to throw are from the sideline. You do mental reps and learn from others mistakes. This is how all the greats do it, as many mental reps as physical reps.

The decision to sit players Andrew Brandt former Packers GM even concurred and so did wolf to a degree when he was with Green Bay. When Rodgers was drafted there was already a all pro future HOF QB for him to sit behind. Mahomes had an all pro in Smith, more recently love sat behind Rodgers. Those are examples of organizations who can afford to sit a QB. We are a 4-13 team that had the 3rd pick in the draft. There is no Pro Bowl, or even all pro QB for maye to sit behind and develop. Maye has shown something to the team is why Mayo has changed his tune.. even wolf saying " whoever the QB will be" it's telling me that maye has impressed and has been developing the way they want him too. So it will be interesting to see what happens.
Alex Smith was a journeyman QB that was released or traded away by multiple teams because he couldn't get the job done. Green Bay is literally the only example in recent history where a rookie QB had a HOF QB to learn from. You act like having Alex Smith was an amazing learning opportunity.

That’s a weird lack of research on your part. KC was his 2nd team, and his last year at KC, Smith threw for over 4,000 yards with 26 td passes and only 5 INTs, made the playoffs and the pro bowl. He was 20-10 in his last 30 starts as a Chief, made the Pro Bowl his last 2 years in KC.

He wasn’t Favre, but he wasn’t Brissett like (journeyman). He was a very good, but not great QB when they drafted Mahomes. It was obvious Mahomes was gonna be the guy eventually though.

Well after what happened with the Mac Jones experiment, need to use caution. Just saying!

Alex Smith was a pro bowl QB who took his team to the playoffs. Give me an example of that here? You act like that's meaningless. How was is not a learning opportunity. If Mac or Zappe was a pro bowl QB and Drake had them to sit and learn behind it makes a huge difference. For your information GB isn't the only example. Young was behind Montana, Lamar sat behind Flacco.

Alex Smith was better than a journeyman QB. Maybe not great but he was good.

If Maye starts, he has little chance to be a top 10 QB if he has Patricia and Judge running the Offense in his 2nd year, and a 3rd system in season 3.

just saying
Stop it. Jones sucks, making excuses for him is ridiculous.

Mac Jones did well in his first season. It wasn't playing him right away that damaged his development. There were subsequent failings but I fail to see how a decent season and a pro bowl nomination "damaged" him.

He was traded twice and never had a losing season his last 7 years in the league. He was selected #1 and went to a dumpster fire in SF. Once he was traded to KC and Washington (never released) he won 2/3 of his games 61/92. Not what I would call a journeyman.

Imagine a world where both can be true lol
Lol exactly.. I'd love to see how many were saying Mac sucked when he had the team at 9-3 at one point. I really would have liked to see how Mac's tenure would have turned out if Josh never left.

Both are true. He sucks and making excuses for his is ridiculous.
One of my favorite things about you is when you pretend to be stupid but then get defensive when people treat you like you're stupid. You know what I meant

Yeah. Who’s our LT? Not sure the Patriots got an nfl starting calibre player there.

Likely the biggest roster fault that I can complain about. None of these tackles are NFL starters. Keep ownenu at RT and I guess we have to hope and pray whoever masquerades at LT can hold up!

Say what you meant then, I’m not a mind reader.
