Wolf on Lowe: “It’s been impressive to watch him progress”

That's actually an interesting point I had not thought of with him. Some other team probably will give him a chance but his best move might be to hang around here and wait for things to clear up and he could wind up a long-term back up for Maye. It might not be his best path to starting again but it could be his best path to years of NFL paychecks.

I still think he probably chases a chance that puts him closer to playing time and I think some team out there probably gives him a chance.
Yes! Your absolutely correct. Fitzpatrick said he relished at the chance to remain in the NFL as a backup.. guy made a great living being a NFL back up QB. Zappe can definitely follow the same path.. but for now his best option is in NE. He says he loves it here and the new offense helps him become a better player.

Another thing I want to mention is.. Drake has steadily improved and showing why he was the 3rd overall pick.. if you have taken note mayo and Wolf thier tone has changed.

Honestly Zappe is not a huge drop off from Brissett that's why I hope we keep Him on the Taxi squad. I also think there will be some decent back-up QB's available at cut down.

If the team want to sign Zappe to a 3 contract as a backup, I'm sure that he's sign.

Waiving him is saying goodbye.

Why would the team not expect Milton to be the #2 in 2025?

As Drake should be

The dolphins need a backup QB, the bills need one and there are probably 4 or 5 other teams which need one. Don't understand the hate for zappe . It's very difficult to gauge any QB behind our delusional offensive line.

I think there will be many suitors and who knows wolf might get a sixth rounder or 7th for zappe.

I’m thinking Eliot should consider a trade with Detroit. We send Bourne or Thornton—they need WR help— for project Giovanni Manu. We will probably need to include a mid round draft pick. They gave up their third for 2025. So parting would be hard. The guy at LT has IMMENSE potential.

This is GM speak for we know he's bad and the good in this situation is that he can only get better. But don't forget though....he's one of the quietest OL out there to play the game...so said Mayo...

Probably nice to have a quiet guy compared to the constant caustic chirping of Chuks Okorafor. Just ask Mike Tomlin.
