He basically did when he said we are still looking for the best group of 5.Nothing, say “the line is still a work in progress.” Don’t lie…

Can’t imagine why he is in the NFL and hasn’t learned that already…
Every time I see your avatar, I see a guy pissing on the Pats' logo.Don't think Anderson has gotten many reps and is still working his way back....
He dealt with quite an ordeal last year and even before all that he was probably more of a second stringer. He might never get back to that. It was a tough break for the kid and I'm still rooting for him but I don't think it's a good sign that Lowe is ahead of him. Depending on what we can find at cutdown he might still make it or maybe he goes to the practice squad and gets a chance to continue to try and get back to where he was before the illness. I'll give him a little more time before completely writing him off. Then Biggest disappointment to me is Calvin Anderson it's telling if they have Lowe well ahead of him. It's looking like Anderson a sure cut!

I see Three Tackles right now Chukwuma - Lowe and Wallace I think we need Four. One or two of the Diesch - Anderson and Henry should make our Taxi squad. Also we know Onwenu can play RT in a pinch I am sure we'll be hogging the waiver wire come cut downs. He dealt with quite an ordeal last year and even before all that he was probably more of a second stringer. I am intrigued to see the Protection scheme how we account for guys slide the protections help and all that good stuff. I don't think things are going to be as bad as we are thinking. I think we're going to be decent from LG to RT: it's LT we are shaky at until they feel C Wallace is ready. Wallace should be an upgrade over Lowe when it's all said and done.Agree. At this point. Unless something catastrophic changes we are stuck with him. If he struggles so badly the first 2 weeks and Drake is getting hit alot then I believe he'll be benched or released. The only person who can help this line is Drake.
Agreed. The LT spot is shaky to say the least. I know the organization won't come out publicly ans admit, but I think there is pressure on them to start Drake. He is the face of the organization. I'd rather see him play and take his lumps now. Drake is the only one who can help the o line.I am intrigued to see the Protection scheme how we account for guys slide the protections help and all that good stuff. Don't forget about recently released Wheatley Jr. Who like Anderson was another disappointment as well. I don't think anything is going to change with the line from now until week 1.. so if Brissett is the starting QB expect him to be on IR from the line..I see Three Tackles right now Chukwuma - Lowe and Wallace I think we need Four. That gets us quicker to our future Maye and Milton and we have Zapper on the PS. Zappe is going to be like that X that just won't go away.Don't forget about recently released Wheatley Jr. Who like Anderson was another disappointment as well. Yes! That's the best thing that could happen... Zapp definitely is going to be on the PS. I think we are going with 3 QBs. There is nothing that briss can do to trick defenses.. if anything they can trick him..That gets us quicker to our future Maye and Milton and we have Zapper on the PS. Zappe is going to be like that X that just won't go away.
Zappe probably signs elsewhere. I think he'd be happy to stay here and be the active QB 2 on game days if we wanted a vet active instead of one of the rookies but I think Maye has already played well enough to be QB 2.That gets us quicker to our future Maye and Milton and we have Zapper on the PS. Zappe loves us he has Stockholm syndrome when it comes on to the Patriots. He's still living out of his suitcase in Foxborough.Zappe probably signs elsewhere. If we cut Zappe I don't see why he would want to go to our practice squad where he'd be behind both Maye and Milton. So if he gets cut I'd expect he signs somewhere else possible on a roster but even to someone else practice squad.
If he signed to someone else's PS he likely will never be called up. He's best staying here even if on the PS. The plan is to develop bazooka Joe so be becomes a tradable commodity. Brissett is only on a 1 year deal.. Zappe is a veteran and can at least play in an emergency situation. The way I ultimately believe it will go is Drake, Brissett Joe and zap on PS.Zappe probably signs elsewhere. Yeah....thanks for the heads up.Every time I see your avatar, I see a guy pissing on the Pats' logo.
He's staying at the motel 6 on RT 1.Zappe loves us he has Stockholm syndrome when it comes on to the Patriots. He's still living out of his suitcase in Foxborough.
That's actually an interesting point I had not thought of with him. Some other team probably will give him a chance but his best move might be to hang around here and wait for things to clear up and he could wind up a long-term back up for Maye. It might not be his best path to starting again but it could be his best path to years of NFL paychecks. If he signed to someone else's PS he likely will never be called up.
