The all-22 is not out yet on NFL+, so hard to be 100% certain analysis but play by play without it disagrees with your entire take.
The first dropback, he went quickly thru 3 read, 3 reads in like 2 seconds.
2nd pass, 2 reads, maybe 3 as the underneath of Baker might be 2, nailed the deep crosser
Next-dump off to tight end with free rusher
Next play first read open, threw it
Next play was shot play down sideline to Baker. had a step, pushed out of bounds, ball landed in his hands
NExt play, until all-22 hard to tell if 2nd or 3rd read, probably 3rd to the flat to Polk.
Next play was probably the ONE play you say will cause injury down the line, a little high to Baker, first read, he is open between 2 defenders, again hits him in the hands, looks Like Maye hesitated during the throw, not great but correct read, hit him in hands, should be a low throw though between defenders, his hesitation probably caused the throw to be high. Bad throw, but a good wr also catches it.
Next, great screen pass great timing, I'm assuming there is a screen later that is off you mention
Then fumble snap
2 reads and a run
2 reads and deep ball to Baker
Next play, 6 reads, yes 6 though technically not all "reads" on the play just kept head up on scramble and kept looking and then threw it away on the scramble
1st read Baker PI play
Throw away with at least 3 reads on a play designed for a 1 read quick throw that was covered
I saw one play that the receiver was stopped, so not a hospital ball throwing into people while moving, no other remotely close to "cause injury down the line"
Bubble screen negative yards? Where?
Absolutely not moving too quickly for him. Based on above he went thru more reads than the average NFL QB can do.
What have you seen on film on Milton, he has 4 years of film and 2 exhibition games saying he's got a 1% chance of being an NFL starter?
A few inaccurate passes that were either caught or hit the receiver in the hands.
Who gives a crap about the numbers looking better? If he played for 49ers, Dolphins or Bengals he'd have great #'s wouldn't mean he's a franchise QB.
He made 3 GREAT, all-pro level throws.
