Has Milton shown enough to actually be active on most game days? The "emergency" QB3 slot does not allow him to come in unless QB1 and QB2 are unavailable.
As it looks now, Brissett will be benched at some point because of accuracy issues and Maye will see a lot of playing time, but how long can he hold up? Not too long I suspect. I think that Milton will have to come in a lot.

They changed the 3rd QB rule, IIRC....

Cant believe how bad brissett looks. I knew he was limited but DAMN! i didn’t put too much into one bad series last week but wow what an attrocious quarter today. Against backups!

Maye looked good to me. Poise , processing, ability to limit negative plays when he HAD a chance. Was a little off on the first incompletion to baker but otherwise pretty accurate. The bomb was a beauty, should have been caught. Definitely needs to add some muscle though and work on his throwing motion.

Wr was honestly the bigger concern for me today than OL , until the end of course whoever was in the last 2 series at OL was an abomination. But i saw very little seperation all night. Brissett and Maye mostly had decent time to throw besides a few breakdowns , just hardly anywhere to go. Hopefully the wr’s just need some time, but they were rough again (didn’t see much seperation last week either). Boutte was probably the best one again this week. If this keeps up and wallace/robinson dont pan out eventually itll look really bad on the FO for prioritizing polk over OL. But its still early too.

Defense had another strong outing and generated good pressure again but like carolina its mostly against backups. Still very skeptical of what theyll look like without judon and barmore but its been encouraging anyway. Cb still a bit iffy to me, might be time for a call to our old buddy stephon. They do resemble a well coached/ well oiled unit but again remains to be seen in real games.

St had another strong game, this is very encouraging after the last 3 years. How cam achord was allowed to handicap the team for multiple seasons is beyond me. Sometimes it’s forgotten We lost alot of games partially due to st since 21 so if this translates over to the regular season that would be huge.

Just 88 yards passing for an entire game even in preseason is absolutely awful. I'm sure they didn't call their best stuff but wow.
This is not Belichick pre-season game plan. We as fans, have to learn the Mayo pre-season game plan as soon as he develops one. They are all new, coaches and players starting over.

Some guys have it some guys don't the Team responded to Drake Maye very different energy when he's in there. As for Jacoby Biscuit hated his FA singing you don't bring a known loser to a Team who's trying to win. Maye completely outplayed him nuff said!

I don't think Maye plays next Preseason game so we should get a good a look at Milton for couple of Quarters.

A few reports saying that McMillan( LB) played well , if he can stay healthy then thats good news for the LB depth.

Not saying he should be the week 1 starter but I don’t think the gap between Brissett and Maye is big at all.

Maye was really the only reason I tuned in last night. I would probably give him a low B. He didn't do anything awful, but he wasn't great either. He looks at times like he's having trouble getting past the second read. He threw a bubble screen way to early, creating negative yardage. He threw a couple of passes that could cause injuries down the line. Accuracy was an issue.

On the positive side, he made some decent runs without trying to do too much. His deep throw to Baker was nice to see. Baker should have caught it, but it was a tough play to make. That pass gets completed and Maye's numbers look better.

Right now, as expected, I think the game is moving a bit quickly for Maye. I know they need a better look at Milton but I hope they give Maye more time in the next game as he likely won't get many chances during the season no matter how bad Jacoby is.

I wish Maye wouldn’t hold the ball out with one hand while moving around that’s asking for trouble.

Maye is real. He put the dime on Baker's hands. Maye got Body slammed also. Love the ball Milton threw to Tallis, What a missile. I've never seen a QB chuck so hard on a flick, Elway,Farve, Cunningham?

When Baker was finally Drafted he said some explicits about what took em so long. I have some explicits for him when are you going explicitly catch an explicit football .

I want him to keep his eyes down Field and throw it on the run like Mahomes and Caleb.

Really has Biscuit shown that he's the clear cut Starter?? Alright I didn't think so.

Maye has to hit the weight room. He has fragile, soft girly-man arms. He is not going to last long with that physique.. Cringe is right. Milton however is built but he has to stop trying to run over tacklers.
LOL. Of course, the only guy with college injury history is Milton but yeah, great analysis.

Honestly I feel like people were high on Brissett because of 1 game he played for us 8 years ago and don't realize just how bad he is. He's there to be a warm body who doesn't get hurt and can only make the easiest and safest plays possible, which is the only reason he isn't making mistakes. He's been the QB on some pretty talented rosters and was the primary reason they didn't get close to the playoffs (the Colts roster he subbed in for when Luck went down was a very talented team). With the rest of the problems on the team, it would be shocking to see Brissett not look awful. He doesn't have the luxury anymore of not trying to make plays and take some risks.
