Not if you won’t spend your money.
They spend money. Stop with this. They were willing to pay Aiyuk and Ridley. They just didn't want to come here.

ATL wins this tradeI get the sense that Judon is a guy who takes care of himself. I believe he's going to still be a high end producer into his mid-thirties. I don't know much about recovery from a torn bicep but I feel like it isn't going to be some lingering injury like a knee or shoulder.
We all know he comes to play, and he's a great locker room guy and fan favorite. The Pats have PLENTY of space, and no top tier FAs are coming here. We also know Atlanta was desperate to land a guy like this after all the criticism on draft day and the belief they have a window to win in the next couple of years.
In a vacuum I agree with most here that a 3rd rounder is a reasonable return (albeit likely a late 3rd). But with all of the above in play, I feel like the Pats should have just signed him or fleeced whoever wanted him.

Interesting how they are willing to pay guys who don't want to play here but won't pay guys who do like Judon. They spend money. Stop with this. They were willing to pay Aiyuk and Ridley. They just didn't want to come here.
How much did they spend on them? How much did they sorbs in free agents? His far under the cap are they? They are currently spending less on football player contracts than every just team in the nflThey spend money. Stop with this. They were willing to pay Aiyuk and Ridley. They are willing to say they will pay guys who don’t want play here. Which came first the chicken or the egg? The only players Kraft said he would pay happened to be ones who didn’t want come here. Of course no one ever mentioned the guaranteed money.Interesting how they are willing to pay guys who don't want to play here but won't pay guys who do like Judon.

And they have tons of it. Keeping him at least gives the defense some semblance of competence, which might help keep the offense on the field and keep pressure off the QBs to keep pace.Signing him would have cost money.
Isn't Jennings ahead of UcheThank you, Judon. One of the best defensive pass rushers we have had here in 3 decades, IMO.
Sorry that we couldn't work out a little raise....
A 3rd is okay...would have preferred a 2nd or something or a player in return along with the 3rd....
But here we are. Hope Uche has a big year.....we need it.
Judon makes this team betterIn real money, they are in like the top 10 this year. Again, why spend money just to spend money. There were very few free agents out there that would make this team better. They made a real effort to get Aiyuk. That is significant. They cannot control a player not wanting to come here. Sorry.
No I wanted them to keep him and use the 43 million they refuse to sorbs to put better players around him so they don’t only win 5-6 games.Judon is 32. Do you really want to give him close to the top of the market money to have 5-6 win seasons while he is here for the next two years only to be let go or retire when the Pats are finally good again.
People are acting like Judon is 28 and not coming off a major injury that ended his season last year.

Because they carried over almost no contracts. In real money, they are in like the top 10 this year. Again, why spend money just to spend money.
