*edit* Looking at my would you trade Matthew Judon thread from February and I said I would trade him for a 3rd rounder. I wonder what changed that is making me disappointed in the 3rd and instead saying it shouldve been a 2nd.

Our 3rd Rd pick this year is getting beat out by Vedarian Lowe. We aren't going to get closer to the playoffs trading our best players for 3s.

Most NFL reports were talking 4th rounder and every team knew he was available, if a 2nd was possible, they would have gotten it.
He's 32, coming off injury, with a history of wearing down towards the end of the year.
I hope he plays well and wish him the best,
Having an extra 3rd is helpful in the rebuild for a guy that was going to play 1 year and that being a rebuilding year.

I think we can all agree the Pats are not too concerned with wins and losses in 2024 at this point, it's all about building for 2025 and 2026
