It's a realistic take....its first week of preseason, it's lousy weather, they clearly don't plan on him playing the first part of the season....they'll gain much more getting him reps in joint practices then they will tonight
If the rest of the preseason games go like this, have to think Zappe is actually QB2 in event if JB injury? Maye wouldn't even be prepared to run the offense with so few reps.
