My mom used to say that every joke has a kernel of truth. BB is better off getting more exposure with the ability to network with other teams than working in the relative background with much less time to look for another job.

Seriously, coaching takes attention to detail and focus. He's doing the right thing.

After a couple years or so, he might be interested in getting back on the sideline. But, like all of us, he ain't as young as he used to be.

I think he should enjoy himself. As hilarious as those press conferences were for us, he was clearly uncomfortable and his occasional humor and history lessons were still delivered in an awkward context.

A couple years? If no one wants him in his early 70's I can't imagine anyone will want him in his mid-70's.

Why should he? If reports of Mayo jockeying for the job during last season are true, BB might have cause to turn his back, especially since he gave Jerod his start in coaching.
