Looking at the database for 2025 free agents, I don't see a single offensive player that is currently on the radar to possibly be extended at this point in time. The first four in ranking of current APY all just signed as free agents.

Offensive players with contracts expiring in 2025:
QB Jacoby Brissett
OT Chuks Okorafor
WR K.J. Osborn
TE Austin Hooper
OT Calvin Anderson
OG Nick Leverett
RB JaMycal Hasty
WR Jalen Reagor
OG Michael Jordan

Sadly/surprisingly every one of those players had a higher current APY than Rhamonde Stevenson did prior to his extension!

OC David Andrews
LG Cole Strange
WR Tyquan Thornton
CB Bailey Zappe
I sure hope not. They've overpaid every player who was on the team in 2023. This is what Bill got right. He let most guys go because they weren't worthy of a 2nd contract and let other teams regret it.

You can make the case that by taking the hardline BB lost a few players that he wanted to sign over relatively few dollars. The reality is that the long run of success shows that it was a right way to manage the roster. This broke down when the pipeline of quality players had some interruptions, in sneaky part due to poor coaching and the failure to develop players quickly.
While I fully support the draft, develop and retain model, it will be interesting how that philosophy will affect the comradery in the locker room. BB made contract signing part of his Psych Ops, mind control interaction with the team. He treated all players the same way and positioned himself as the common enemy which helped the players gel as a unit. Since all players don't deserve to be retained, it will be worth watching how Wolf manages the expectations with players and if any resentment is accidentally created in the locker room.

There is no one on those two lists that I think they should extend beyond their current deals.
I do like that the new regime is paying valued players and sending the signal that performance can result in greater security and better compensation. Belichick would not do that and constantly had his best players looking around for better deals with less successful teams.
Rhamondre was playing on a rookie contract, so its no surprise his compensation was low. I also like the owners discussions with the NFLPA and NFL about setting up a QB cap specifically to pay them from a different wage scale than everybody else. The QB money is insane and places the other players at a massive disadvantage.
