Tom Brady's Broadcasting debut highlights

I think he’ll do a better job commentating on guys he’s familiar with. I think he’ll provide a lot better detail on things when he’s not thinking as much, which felt like that was the case at times for him as I doubt he knew either team overly well. But I was impressed with his pace, delivery, etc. Better than I expected from someone who really hadn’t done it before.

NFL has been trying to find ways to get more ladies watching games. When Fox cuts to the booth and Tom is on screen speaking about the game I bet wives and girlfriends passing by might pause and sit down, maybe stay for a while.

He sounded great! Articulation... Pacing... Content... Sounded like a seasoned pro there. These are "best moments" though.

He didn't used to be comfortable expressing himself like this. You can tell it's something he's worked on and improved a ton.

Question is will he be able to criticize/point out mistakes when they occur.

So far, he looks solid. I don't see him going over the top like Romo did either his first year or so. Romo's act got tiring quickly.

I think of the UFL game as his " 2000 Detroit" game...

Did they even advertise that he was going to be in the booth? I would’ve checked it out haha

Yes probably but I always thought of it as him agreeing to it to avoid becoming a distraction. He was team first to a fault.

I watched the highlight and he sounded much better than I thought he would at this point. He needed to slow down a bit a couple times but sounded pretty good. I also want more analysis and insights from him than that clip.

Was there ever a doubt he’d be good at this, he’s Tom Brady ffs!
I think there was some doubt with some fans even though we should know better after watching him for 20 years.

there are some clips of TB on the Cowherd show that show Tom discussing getting his WR's involved in the games early.
very, very articulate. I am unable to post it here for some reason, but check it out
impressive
