Bruins 2024 playoffs

Ouch
Really struck a nerve
I admire your unwavering passion despite the B's routine eliminations from the playoffs.

Note to self:
When Maust is nearby, avoid facts, stats, and any discussions regarding epic playoff failures and disproportionate playoff eliminations that may trigger a worrisome emotional response.

Instead, I will elevate the successes

" Yes...the B's one cup in the past 53 years was well worth the more than half century of disappointment....and their playoff consistency should be celebrated with both a banner and a participation cup."

ck

All you did was make me shake my head. Like I do at the sad small minded people who don't find it enough to wallow in their misery, they need to try bringing someone else down too. You struck no nerve as your opinion has no value

I'm fully aware you can't understand the love of sport. If for no other reason than there doesn't seem to be any in you. Life is short but it needn't be so unrelentingly miserable. Me I'm finding it to mostly be a pretty great ride, obviously YMMV. How sad for you that others can find some joy where you have none. Ice up son, secure in the knowledge I dgaf

Your schtick is beyond tiresome.

So hot in Southern Florida right now. Surprised they can keep the rink frozen.

Bobrovsky pitched a shutout.

The man was as dialed in last night as any goaltender I've ever seen.
That being said, the guy plays like a spaz.
I guess this time of year you need a guy who can stand on his head (like Tim Thomas in 2011) vs a guy like Tuka who was excellent at cutting off angles but could never go full superhero (or even half)

On to another subject, how can one player, McDavid be so much better than anyone else on the planet. It's not even close.
Sucks that this Oilers team is so top heavy and their JAGs are going to bring them down (or maybe not).

The Russian is a Spaz.

Falling down backwards all over the place. He was lucky as hell game 1. The Oilers had a golden chance to score in the beginning, bur squandered it.

McDavid is unreal. He scored a goal in front of the Mavericks net lsst series that I still cant get my head around it. I think that we will see the Oilers bring the physicality Monday night.

The Panthers coach deserves a lot of credit too.

Florida just looks like a team of destiny. Not a cinderella story of course. But a team who has been on the cusp and appears will finally get their cup.

They fixed the same problems that the Bruins have right now.

Bruins are unfixable
Undersized Marchand and finesse Pastrnak will never get it done in the playoffs against physical teams.
And don't get me started on McAvoy. The guy must be taking stupid pills because his hockey sense has all but disappeared.

Boston just lost to the Panthers who could be the Champs.

Florida got Rodegrueis after failing to get it done last season. Dude is new and paying off in spades.

The Oilers need to be thinking about pulling Skinner.

The Oilers need to stop trying to set up the perfect shot and put some shots on goal. They pass the puck around the horn for a full minute and then it gets intercepted.

Except when McDavid has the puck.

The Panthers just want this Stanley Cup Championship more. The way they hustle in the 3rd period beating the Oilers to negate an icing call and keep the puck on offense.

The Oilers look lost and beat. Like Brandon at G7. Paul Maurice is moves ahead of the Oilers coach who looks lost as well.

Brutal

I have no idea why he is leaving Skinner in there. Johnny Foxboro could play better in net. That sequence where he tried to dig the puck out behind the net and then failed to get back in goal in time was ridiculous.

The Oilers got to Bobrovsky, but one goal was a fluke off his own player behind his back.

So, we're really only talking about 2 goals making a total of 3 goals past Bob in 3 games.

Skinner can be beat high in the corners and the Panthers are well aware of that.

Gotta hand it to Edmonton forcing a Game 7 after the going down 3-0. Panthers are shook!
