Sow was picked in the 4th round, and Mafi in the 5th.

If Sow isn't our starting LG on Opening Day, I'll be very disappointed.

i may be in the minority but i miss dale and holley AND the big show with ordway and yes i am a pats red sox b's and c's homer. the stuff i hear on our sports stations these days takes masshole to the next level. even some of the callers are unbearable.

What doomed joe, Josh, mangini, Matt is they all were reportedly trying to be bill instead of being themselves. Nothing wrong with being yourself, and taking all the wealth of knowledge bill gave to apply to your coaching principles. That's what Mayo's doing.

And mayo saw that in last 4 years bill really unraveled and was not the most popular coach in circuit

So it's common sense to move away from key bill characteristics and just do the key bill defensive plans in background . After we lost Brady and scar , Bill was totally hopeless in finding any offensive identity or drafting stud players. So if you compare bill in isolation over last 4 years , he would be inferior compared to dan quinn .

We should compare Marvin lewis stats as HC with Bill without Brady .

Wow. Great stuff. It hard to argue with any of that. What Wil in what I believe will help mayo is being him. Learning from how own coaching mistakes. I believe mayo can motivate guys and get guys on board. I'm looking for forward to he and Drake both growing together and getting this franchise back into a contender.

Mazz is a suck bag. Felger at least comes up with an agenda every now and then. But more than twice a month of listening to them for 30 min is plenty

He’s a big part of why I think we’ve got a group of good and underrated WRs.

I am interested to see the chemistry aspect that we haven't seen before. While a majority focuses on the singular of a "true #1" (which is also part of a team does significantly alter the final product), we haven't seen a truly gelled Patriots team in what four years now? By that I mean the disparate offensive skills acting in concert? Good blocking, with good decision making and delivery and complimentary running or routes and catching. There have been very few glimpses where that occurs not on an individual basis, but a team basis (we have seen it on the defensive side).

Just one good run fake, with the opposing safeties and LBs biting, and then further trying to recover and locking on a shallow WR or TE route opening up a deep seam or post where the ball is delivered on time and target without a DE in the QBs face .5 seconds after the snap....hope springs eternal...
